Well, I decided to try a SEM map, I've been working on this one for a while; I find them quite hard so see what you think! :) Thoughts and critisism welcome! I am having problems with indenting it. I'm going to look into it and try to fix it!

Body
Eyes
Colour
-Cloudy skies
-Soft as melted butter
-Cold as ice
-Sunlit Seas

Depth

-Endless ocean- bottom of the sea
-Unfathomable love
-Deep well, stone falling down.

Face
Shape

-Gentle, curved lines
-Soft, like an orange
-Princess, like a porcelain doll
-Smiling child

Colour

-White Lilly
-Tinted clouds
-Pink rose

Strength
-Strong as a mother's love
-Pampered
-Left when young, so learnt to fend for herself
-Working out her own problems

Mind
Knowledge
Arrogance
-Knows more than first appears
-Girl who knows what it is to lose everything
-Thinks she knows practically everything.

Amount
-Endless starlight
  - A broken soul
  - Loss of a child

-Deepest nightmare
-Midnight blue

Turmoil
   Hidden
   - Deep ocean
   - Underground coal

Sadness
-Losing a father
-Lonely, empty house

That's great, Elanor! =) You're getting the hang of this quickly.

I especially liked this metaphor:
Soft as melted butter
and this one:
Left when young, so learnt to fend for herself

About the indents:
Just put this code:
Code:
[e]emsp[/e]

in the spot where you'd normally put an indent. Repeat that exact code for as many indents as you want =)

Hey, Elanor!

I was just noticing that you said her eyes were as cold as ice, but as soft as butter... It is interesting that you put those two together, as ice is generally hard, as well as cold.

I really liked the one "endless starnight". :)

Thanks, Eru!

I did look up your thread and I tried it and this is what happens:

&Thanks; (I used the indent code on this)

Where do you put the esmp part because I may be being silly but when I put the emsp

&emspThanks;

It doesn't do anything! :D

Thanks! :) I guess I was trying to get across that her eyes were soft but they sometimes had a cold, hard glint in them.

  This is indented two spaces.
   This is indented three spaces.
