Post subject:  Character Developing Tools

Hi,
I was wondering if you all have any specific writing tools that help you develop characters, such as questions that you answer for each character, websites you go to, profiles you fill out, etc.

I have a form that I fill out for each character and then I write a long report to expand the profile.

Thanks! :D

Sometimes I write out a random profile thing that I fill out. But usually my characters kind of develop on their own in the story! ;)

I and my siblings are developing a fractalling system for developing deep and powerful characters. It is very detailed and very effective in deepening characters. Hopefully it will be done soon, and I will post it.

There was this book I checked out at the library, there was this page for a thing you fill out for the character. That's what I did, but mostly just going through the writing process the character grows. etc.

My characters tend to come up with themselves as they go along in the story

I do the same as Drath and Namor, generally, but I am now planning on letting them develop on here. :D

It's much safer and better to develop the characters before you write them in.
