Post subject:  Zaciré's Essence (semap)
This is an essence I've posted previously but I've rewritten as a semap. It's written using a new system that I've been using personally called SEM (Simple Essence Mapping). Anyways, I've posted a thread on SEM here and you're welcome to use it for your own maps if you want.

BODY
 Eyes
  Color
   - Melting chocolate in the sun
   - Hard as granite
   - Stallion's flank shining in the sunlight
   - Bright like the sun
  Depth
   - A bottomless cave – stone dropping to the bottom
   - A massive boulder on top of a mountain / perched precariously
   - Hiding a deep loss – a salesman who isn't what he seems
 Face
  Shape
   - Hard, angular lines
   - Firm, like a chair's seat
   - Tall and majestic, like a king's face
   - a grim man
  Color
   - A puffy marshmallow toasted brown and dripping off the spit
   - Light coat of a chestnut horse
   - Arabian style skin
 Strength
   - Strong as an ancient cypress tree
  Pampered
   - Not used to using it because of his upbringing
   - A worried mother keeping him from activities
MIND
 Knowledge
  Arrogance
   - A villain that knows he can kill you if he likes
   - A man who has won a duel
   - King of the Hill
  Amount
   - Water over Niagara falls
   - The ocean's blue water
   - An uncharted, vast land
 Turmoil
  Hidden
   - A deep black cave
   - Chasing the White Stag
  Sadness
   - A girl's broken pearl necklace
   - Broken down ruin – formerly great castle
SPIRIT
 Rehuan
  Loss
   - A security blanket
   - Boba Fett squatting and holding his father's helmet
   - Death of a favorite pet
   - Loss of a ship's mast
   - Death of a general in war
   - No Father to turn to
  Resentment and Revenge
   - Passion aroused against evil
   - Juggernaut not heeding danger
   - A stallion pawing the ground
   - Trumpkin's capture by Miraz in P.C. – not defeated, only set back
   - Edmund attacking the White Witch
 Quest
  Determination
   - A train running at full steam
   - Inigo Montoya
   - Prove his worth / a man who must do something or be ridiculed

This is really good Eru:) I like the melting chocolate in the sun and yet hard as granite, it's a lovely balance.

May I copy your layout as a practise and post it later? I won't use any of your words or anything just copy your layout?

Eruhan, I think I will steal your essence map form from now on. ;) It's so clean and tidy. Very well done, and I love the imagery!
