 *chokes on fly as mouth hangs open* That was in my opinion your best one yet, though Robin's was pretty good as well...hm, maybe it's a tie ;). You definitely have a masterful grasp on essence mapping. I love reading your maps :D. I think it's awesome that Raven's essence is very black and beautiful while Gisborne's seems very black and evil, testimony to the versatile properties of black. Keep up the good work!

:) I have another one coming eventually that will show black and mysterious.

I think I've found the key to essence mapping. It's not just collecting a bunch of random metaphors to describe your character. The metaphors themselves give an overall impression. If I want to communicate gentleness, I pick metaphors that show it, not metaphors that sound harsh or evil. Or if I want to communicate evilness, like in this map, I'm not going to pick metaphors that sound gentle.

Here's an unsolicited graphic that I made based on your map. I know you didn't ask for it, but I've been hankering for a gimp project so when I read this map I knew I wanted to work on it. Let me know how I did. I think I might drum up one for Robin and for Marion if I get the time. If you'd rather I not, let me know and I won't. Your maps are just fun to work with.

I don't see a link or a file. Am I missing something? Also, I can't access facebook, so if you post it there, I won't be able to see it. :)
