| I think this is an appropriate time of year to post something like this. What holidays exist in your world? Why are they special and how do people celebrate them? Right now I have only one which I am thinking of removing. It was actually founded during my novel, celebrating a partial victory and the first big battle of the war. The reason I intend to phase it out is because I wrote it in in a fairly cheesy manner. | |

| Off the top of my head, I have the Attensini’Kenko-Iraph. It's a celebration held every 12 1/2 years (150 yurga) by the Ashtains in their capital city of Tenin. The celebration is in honor of Attensie; the Creator. I'm still working how it is celebrated... | |

| Well, in the Truth Light Chronicles, each person has something similar to a birthday. Only, they celebrate the date they joined either the Light or the Dark side. For people of Light, it is a day of hope and joy, looking toward the coming year. The elders of the community may bless the celebrator. For the people of Dark, it is more of a time to restate their loyalty to the Dark Prince. I should probably make up a few rituals. ACK! Plot bunny attack! Why do I always get plot bunnies when I'm trying to post? I don't have much planned about holidays, although I really should. Thanks for making me think about this! | |
