I am torn... the purist in me wants to say "how dare you attempt to make an essence of Robin Hood!!! " the logic in me says, "So? That's cool!"

Make of that what you will...

*stares askance at the essence map once more...*

The loyalty part is funny. :D

Well done.
I find your description of his lack of gracefulness intriguing since most interpretations have graceful motion as one of his key qualities (I think it has something to due with the subconscious association of skill at archery with graceful motion). It certainly makes him your own character, unique from traditional Robin Hoods. You also used excellent metaphors. The use of rustic images gives him an almost farm-boy feel that most Robin Hoods don't possess. Well done!

Great job, Raven!

I get a very different impression than your normal, run-of-the-mill Robin Hood! I was also very intrigued by Robin's lack of grace. :)

Thanks! I'm glad that his unusualness shone through. Even though I'm using some of the same characters as other Robin Hood stories, I try to make them as much my own as possible.

Here's a graphic inspired by this map. It was a bit trickier to fit the whole impression in one pic than it was for Gisborne.

The way you word the descriptions and all makes me think of a country style Robin Hood, haha. Which, now that I think of it, is a very intriguing idea.
