Mordir: [Walks in, bearing a long two-edged sword] Come on, Lewis. Let's get this started.

Me: Really? Making him angry is your strategy?

Mordir: He's already angry.

Jay: "My name is NOT Jase!!!" (to me) "This is a sword duel?"

Me: * hands sword * "Yes."

Jay: * turns to Mordir * "Assassin, you are so dead."

Me: * sighs *

Me: It can be any weapon you want. Didn't think of that.

Mordir: Me? Dead? I'll remind you, I might it my living to kill others. I'm not so easily killed myself.

Me: Unless you count the villain rebel-

Mordir: That doesn't count! [Glares at Jay] Your move, Jase.

Me: "Jay is his own weapon... Swords are fine."

Jay: * furiously swings sword at Mordir's left shoulder *

Me: "Man, it's been a while since I had a character duel like this..."

Mordir: [Deflects Jay's sword with his and sidesteps] Oh, did I make you angry? [Thrusts at Jay's middle]

Jay: * blocks the thrust, his sword sliding along Mordir's as he trusts it upward before sidestepping and swinging again * "You did, Coward. And that was a bad move."

Mordir: [Growls and shoves Jay's sword back, slicing at his side and brings the slice upward] I am no coward!

Jay: "Look who's angry now!" * spins quickly, resulting in a slight cut on his side * "You kill people for pay. That doesn't sound like a job I would take." * forcefully shoves the edge of his sword at Mordir's raised blade and pushes it down and to the side *

Mordir: [Scowls and almost loses his sword, but keeps hold of it and slashes at Jay's shoulder] Of course you wouldn't. You're the hero in your story! Some people have to make a living somehow. We can't all be so famous or whatever and find any job we want.

Me: They get along so well.

Mordir:

Jay: "I protect people. It isn't easy, for your information. Living like you would be the easier route. But no, you just complain and simper." * blocks slash clumsily *

Me: * buries face in hands * "Don't they?"

Mordir: [Thrusts and Jay's stomach, then slashes across it] You don't know what I've been through! I have a wife and two little ones to support, plus my mother and my sister, who don't even know I'm alive! I've tried being the good guy, like you. But every time I do someone dies! [Slices at Jay's head]

Me: They do.... Don't mind his rant. (Good development, though. )

Jay: * snarls * "And that's my fault???" * blocks slash, swinging his blade upward and brings it down at Mordir's shoulder *

Me: * sarcastically wonders at Jay's benevolent "good guy-ness" * (Indeed. )

Mordir: [Jumps backward, but his shoulder still gets cut] No. I'm just explaining to your simple mind that I don't whine and simper, I do what I do for the one love! And I will not be insulted by a boy like you!!!!

Me: ...Never seen him this emotional.... if he bursts into tears...

Mordir: I'm not going to cry! Do I look like the kind of guy that would give Jay the material to insult me?! [Slashes at Jay's knees, then thrusts]

Jay: * jumps back and block the thrust furiously * "Are you calling me immature?"

Mordir: [Slashes at Jay's sword hand] If you want to big words, then yes. I am. Do you think your mind is ready for that big word?

Me: Oi, villain, you're gonna get yourself hacked to pieces.

Jay: * grits teeth and pulls back from the swing, resulting in a cut on his knuckles * "You little two-faced..." * jabs at Mordir's torso *

Me: "Jay..." * sighs *

Mordir: Two-faced? Last time I checked, little boy, I had only one. [Winces as Jay's sword strikes, but he backs up fast enough so it's not very deep] You're good when you're angry.

Me: [Pokes her villain] You talk a lot.

Mordir: I do not.

Jay: * growls * "Thanks." * swings at Mordir's ribs * "And I'm the one who doesn't understand big words, eh?"

Me: (to Aris) "Jay lost some momentum with the comment from Mordir."

Mordir: [Blocks and thrusts at Jay's shoulder] Aye, you are. [Smiles] What makes you I'm two-faced? I have not deceived you, boy.

Jay: * glares * "You deceive others. And lets not forget the rebellion in the Character Introductions. Shawn was almost killed." * manages to mostly block thrust * * arms starts to bleed *

Mordir: [Sneers and slices at Jay's knees] I'm a villain, boy. It's part of my occupation. And your girlfriend stuck her nose in where it didn't belong. SHe got what she deserved.

Me: You almost died.

Mordir: Granted, it probably wasn't the best plan of action.

Me: Probably? Or totally?

Mordir: Depends on how you look at it.

Jay: * furious * "No one deserves that kind of treatment, especially from you." * jumps back, getting a cut across his left knee *

Mordir: She stood in my way. I don't take kindly to people who hinder my work. [Advances, slashing at Jay's head] She's lucky she had that crazed dragon looking after her, otherwise she would not have been spared.

Me: He's... getting creepily similar to what he was like during the rebellion. They seem to really bring out the ferocity in each other.

Mordir: What is it with you and how we behave towards each other?

Me: I dunno.

Jay: "Huh. I'd call that bravery, and doing the right thing, even when its hard. Or is that Greek to you?" * sneers *

Me:

Jay: * ducks and parries, swinging at Mordir's ribs *

Me: "They certainly do. If only my villain would do that for their story..."

Mordir: Greek? I'd call it rash stupidity. It is not wise to stand in the way of villains, especially when there's a lot of them. [Arches his back outward, the sword tip grzes his shirt. He slams his swords into Jay's, to knock him off balance]

Me: We should have Villain Lessons 101.

Jay: * snorts * "You don't know what Greek is? The villains lose, buddy, because they do the wrong thing. And you don't know one thing about standing up to pressure, especially when the odds are against you!" * is knocked on his back *

Me: "We should!"

Mordir: [Snarls] No, I don't. I don't live in your world, thank goodness. [Mordir springs forward in a thrust] You don't think I can't deal with pressure? I'm an assassin, I deal with it every day of my life! I'm not so stupid that I don't know when I'm outnumbered, either.

Me: It could prove to be very entertaining.

Mordir: Do NOT drag me into it. You've already dragged me into kidnapping Nemo, and that almost got me killed!

Me: I'll drag you wherever I want, sir. Now focus on your duel.

Jay: * rolls on the floor, gasping to get his breath back * "I'm... Not... Ignorant..."

Me: "Jay-"

Jay: * growls *

Me: "Oo-kaay... Fine." (to Aris) "Totally."

Mordir: [Sneers and plants foot on Jay's chest, putting the tip of his sword at his neck] Never cross an assassin. [Drives sword down. His sword skips to the side and only cuts Jay's neck a little] ARIS!!!

Me: What? You think I'm gonna let you kill him?

Mordir: [Growling] Isn't that the point of this duel?!

Me: I guess. But maybe not like that?

Mordir: What do you mean maybe not like that?!

Me: Villain Lessons 101, Lesson One: Don't argue with someone who has more power than you.

Mordir:

Me: * almost typed Jase for a second *

Jay:

Me: "You. Duel."

Jay: * grunts as Mordir puts his foot on his chest * * manages to do something that lines up with what Aris did *

Me: * ignores dissatisfied Jayson look *

Jay: * slams his knee into Mordir's leg *

Me: "Let me know if any of that doesn't work."

Jay: "Of course it does."

Me: I think it can work.

Mordir: You're so biased. [Staggers forward and almost falls on top of Jay, steadies himself and turns quickly] That's it! [Slices downward]

Me: You're so... violent.

Jay: * reaches out and grabs Mordir's arm, bringing him downwards * * tries to pull sword away * "And you are so-"

Me: "Nope."

Jay: * scowls * "Temperamental!"

Mordir: Ack! [Falls on top of Jay, losing his sword] What was that supposed to do for you? [Whips out a dagger] I was calling Aris biased, silly. She' seems to be rooting for your win.

Me: I disagree entirely.

Mordir: Lie.

Me:

Jay: * puts the sword at Mordir's neck * "Don't. Move."

Me: "Genius."

Jay: "Obviously she's prefers better personality."

Me: * facepalm * "You humility is unquenchable."

Mordir: [Freezes for a second] Better personality? You're foolish personality makes me sick. [Swings his dagger at the sword to push it aside and lunges forward]

Me: [Peers at two fighters] I can't tell if they're still on the ground or on their feet.

Me: "I think they're sort of in between."

Jay: * kicks at Mordir during the brief pause * * falls backward to avoid the lunge and attempts to get to his feet * "Your profession is sickening to those who have a conscience."

Me: "Whoever said that fighting resolves the issue wasn't thinking of these two."

Mordir: [Growls and staggers back] You don't think it's hard for me? I've tried being one of you. Being good and all that. But every time I try someone dies because of me. I do what I do because I can't do nothing else! So don't go whining about a conscience! [Slashes at Jay] And besides, I'm a villain. I need to disgust you heroes.

Jay: * blocks slash * "Congratulations on sickening a hero. And you're whining again about your shortcomings instead of fixing them."

Me: "Jayson, your personality is so noble." * utter sarcasm *

Jay:

Mordir: *Feigns a thrust, but then slices at his neck* I am not whining. I was being defensive of my position. I have truly tried to play the part of a hero, but... I guess it doesn't come naturally to me as it does to you.

Me: You get to be a hero in the story.

Mordir: Yes, but I also get jailed for it,

Me: Well, yeah, but... Why do you have to be so difficult?! You weren't this difficult before I brought you to the forums!

Mordir: I was more bad than I am now. [Smirks]

Jay: * smirks * "Whoa!" * ducks slash *

Me: "Feel free to get yourself killed."

Jay: "Aaw, loving the support here."

Jay: * swings at Mordir's ribs *

Mordir: [Bends backward at the waist. But winces when the blade cuts his stomach] I think we have at least one thing in common. [Slashes at Jay's side, but spins quickly and thrusts at his sword arm] Our authors aren't exactly supportive at times.

Me: That was cold, Mordir. I am supportive! I haven't killed you yet, have I?

Mordir: No, but the word 'yet' leads me to believe that you will.

Me: If you keep up this attitude, it will be very painful, and it might even have you pinned another another dragon. So watch it.

Jay: * sucks in breath as the sword slices his arm * "Yeah, well, my authoress is just cruel."

Me: "And none of that is your fault."

Jay: "Um...no?!"

Me:

Mordir: I'm with you on that one. [Thrusts at Jay's middle]

Me: Don't be mean to Shawnee.

Mordir: I was talking about you.

Me: I am not cruel! If was, I would have killed you. And I wouldn't have given you a family, or a past, or-

Jay: * dodges to the side, getting a considerable cut on his ribs * "There are things much worse than death. Trust me." * glares *

Jay: "No it is not!"

Mordir: If I wasn't busy, I would hurt you.

Me: I know, which is why I said it while you were busy.

Mordir: Agh, I give up with you. [Slashes at Jay's neck]

Jay: * ducks under slash * "Like failing your family. Failing your name."

Me: "Speaking from experience."

Jay: "Be quiet."

Me: "And losing."

Jay: * throws dictionary * * trips * "Hey!"

Mordir: Very true. [Thrusts at Jay's side]

Me: Well, you don't have worry about failing your name.

Mordir: Yes I do. I'll fail if I get caught. Or have you forgotten what my name means? The one you so kindly gave me?

Me: That's sarcasm, isn't it?

Mordir: Yes it is.

Jay: * moves to the side and forcefully parries the blow * "Your name? You name means what, exactly?"

Jay: "Hush."

Mordir: [Stumbles back, but thrusts viciously again] It means doom's shadow.

Mordir: You breathe my name, and I will kill you in your sleep.

Me: I don't even know what your real name is! So relax.

Jay: "Thrilling." * blocks the thrust, eyes flashing *

Me: "Buddy, after your story, your name is going to be synonymous with 'reckless spy who gets in over his head.'"
