I need help how to describe this knife in my book

I moved the thread here since the Q&A room is for questions regarding the forum. This is better.

The image looks kind of like a sabre point.

well, what would it be used for? Stabbing, slashing, sawing, etc...?

It looks like a jagged blade that might be used for sawing, or in a medical profession.

It is just a normal knife with a different point to it!

From the shape that is given, it seems to be designed specifically for cutting, while retaining limited ability to thrust. How much it can thrust is dependent on the curve of the blade that cannot be seen. Good questions, though, Mindy.
