Iasclasair: large pink dolphins with orange eyes. They can make hot air vents in the ocean floor that are capable of setting ships on fire.

Iascaird: large light blue dolphins with purple eyes. They can make waves and tsunamis.

Gaothiasc: large grey dolphins with blue eyes. They can make currents in the water

Fanasc: large light green dolphins with yellow eyes. They can change face of the ocean floor

Gealiasc: large white dolphins with colour-changing eyes. They can make the deep places in the ocean light.

Iascron: large light purple dolphins, with black eyes. They can make the higher places in the ocean dark.

They are sapient and larger than killer whales.

Interesting... Can they be communicated with by sapient creatures above the water?

Wow. They're certainly very brightly colored! What role do they play in your story?

I'm not sure yet. I know the Eanaughs can understand humans etc., so I imagine the Deilfs will be able to understand sapient creatures both above and below water.

More than likely they will only be introduced in the first story, and then used more in the second. I can't really tell you what they'll do, because I really haven't worked much on my ideas for my second story.
