-Tinedean: large red birds, with a sprinkling of orange and yellow feathers. They are able to make and extinguish fire. -Uiscedean: large blue birds, with a sprinkling of darker blue, black, and purple feathers. They are able to make water out of nothing, and suck water up into themselves without end. They contribute the rain part of storms. -Aerathraigh: large grey birds, with sprinklings of blue and black feathers. They are able make and stop winds and fog. They can contribute the wind part of storm. -Creathraigh: large green birds, with sprinklings of yellow, and lighter and darker green feathers. They can make hills and valleys out of nothing. They can make and stop earthquakes. Let me know what you think! -Lochranndean: large white birds, with sprinklings of yellow, orange, red, green, blue, and purple feathers. They can make light in dark places and at night. They can contribute the lightning part of storms. -Dorchadean: large purple birds, with sprinklings of blue and black feathers. They can make light places dark. They can contribute the thunder and darkness to storms. |

The Tinedean seems to be inspired by the Pheonix. Uicedean, Aerathraigh, Lochraandean, and Dorchandean all seem to be similar to the Thunder Bird. I can't quite place the Creathraigh though. Could you shed some light on it's inspiration for me? Do let me know if my guesses are right! I really like these tributes to ancients Bird legends, if that's what they are. |

The Pheonix did inspire the Tinedean, but I THOUGHT the Uicedean, Aerathraigh, Lochrandean, and Dorchandean were my own creations. It must have been subconscious inspiration. |

Sir Emeth Mimetes wrote: Are they sapient, and how large are they? When you say sapient, do you mean can they think and reason? If so, yes they can. I can give a better description of them now, because I actually have a clear picture in my head. They look like peacocks, except the tail is shorter, and it can't fan out. They're typically bigger than eagles. However, they can make themselves smaller and bigger at will, which will be very useful in battles. |

Are any of them inherently evil or good? If they are, which ones are evil and which are good? Since most contribute to a storm, if they work together can they create a storm? |

Well, think of it this way. 1: You're attacked with a light so bright that you can't see. In this case, the bird could dim it, so that you could see. 2: You need a way to hid from pursuers (e.g. in a cave), and darkness would give enough cover. |

That does make sense, and anyway, it wouldn't make much sense for all the other birds that are Eanaughs to be good and that one be bad. |
