| Alterez(the new idea). In my book, there are three types of magic that only certain people can use. To be able to use magic, you must be a child of a person who uses magic. It can also be passed on by a dying person who uses magic. The other way is for Yeshua to gift you in magic. The three types of magic in Alterez are The Magic of Light and Darkness, The Magic of the Elements, and the Magic of Physics. The Magic of Light and Darkness(darkness was added after the fall) controls light, shadows, and can also form things out of the light/darkness. The Magic of the Elements controls wind, fire, earth, and water. They can also form things out of the Elements(must be really strong to form anything out of the first two Magics). The third magic, The Magic of Physics, controls matter and literal objects. All magic takes energy and can kill the user if he/she use too much magic at one time. If you have any ideas to improve this idea, please tell me. Kenton D. Long | |

| A wizard can also use the magic they are taught in to create for themselves a realm(size depends on power). The Magic of Light and Darkness is used to form the first of the realm. The Magic of Elements is used to add ground, water/rain, wind and the ability to use fire in the realm. The Magic of Physics is used to add objects to the realm and to form creatures(combined with the Magic of Light and Darkness) for the realm. Most wizards are only taught one of the three magics, but a small handful of wizards learn them all(rarely). Kenton D. Long | |

| I don’t really like a wizard being able to create his own universe. I think that gives too many rights of the Creator to them. However, I did like your first post. I also appreciate the fact that you put boundaries on your magic. I prefer reading books that puts a damper on magic, instead of it being an endless source of power without limitations. | |

| So really all magic comes from Yeshua. Whether it is generations back or just recently gifted. Is there no demonic magic? | |

Demons can help lead wizards astray and then access their magic. Airianna Valenshia wrote: I don’t really like a wizard being able to create his own universe. Maybe I should use one specific ancestoral wizard that every 50 generations after him that magic is allowed, but I must find a way to make it very dangerous to do. Kenton D. Long

Maybe there's an ancient wizard who long ago attempted it, and was punished/destroyed and all ever since have been afraid to do so? That could bring up an interesting plot about a villain who dares to defy tradition and achieves great power by taking a risk eruheran

| OR... we could twist it even more and have the main character do so.... I like the idea... I think that would be great! Thanks for the idea!!! Kenton D. Long | |

| I have a question. Why do most wizards only learn one type of magic? | |

| eruheran wrote: Awesome! Let me know when you write this! =) eruheran I am working on this currently. Still in the process though. Willow Wenial wrote: I have a question. Why do most wizards only learn one type of magic? They can only learn one magic because it is tradition and because only one magic is in their blood. In the book, there are only 9 people who ever learn all three. You must have wizard blood to learn or perform magic.( imainly use it for limiting purposes. Kenton D. Long | |
