Nice map, except, how does the big lake stay full? It doesn't have any rivers flowing into it and water can't flow out of the ocean. Rain might work, but it would have to relatively shallow. It could also have multiple springs in it, I suppose.

I like it! I especially like that compass rose. Did you draw it yourself?

Really nice map! I really like your place names...they're really creative. Plus, all your mountains are different from one another, which makes it look more realistic. :D

Nice map sister, I know it took you a few weeks to do it. :) (and a little help from me) ;)

Thanks everyone! I was meaning to fix that lake, I know I need to add a river there, I just kept forgetting! :o

The compass rose I drew, but I saw the original design somewhere, and wanted to use it... So I drew my renditon. :D

Thanks Eruheran! I made some of the names, but my sister (AKA Taiven Knight) helped with some too! The mountains also had some help from my sister ;) :)

Very nice Lady Terra! I’ve wanted to do some mapping, but I’m not sure where to start. Bravo!

Definitely. I once wrote a story were they went east from place A to B, South from place B to C, then east again from place C to A. It was all about 2 days travel, so no, they didn't go around the world. It was just a mistake that could have been corrected had I had a map.

I agree, I love the artsy compass.

For some reason, I imagine it must be a beautiful place. I think it's the bright green, bright blue, and light gray. I feel like I'm looking at a gorgeous fantasy country crossed with a tropical island. It doesn't feel dark - grand, and perhaps a bit peaceful. That's just how it made me feel, looking at it. If I were a traveler and you handed me that map, saying "Go here," I would feel pretty optimistic about my journey. :)
