*Jerks back at first when Tae's hand appears in front of his face, but slowly cranes his neck forwards, and sniffs it. He looks up at Tae, and seems satisfied that he is a friend.*

Tarkas: Oh. I don't know if I can be those things.

Tae: [Smiles, then lsowly strokes the wild cat gently] You're a nice cat, aren't you?

Lyr'Ous- Looks like Tae's got the hang of it maybe you should be taking notes? Where I come from those who cant stand up strong aren't considered nobles. Nobility has nothing to do with blood. As chieftain I ruled not because my father ruled before me but because I stood up strong and did not allow anything to stand in my way. If the Legions of the Dea (evil) realms threatened my people I would stand before them without blinking. Its not about physical strength. No I have fought many men stronger than I and won without indecent. It isn't about skill I have defeated many with far greater skill than I and won. Its about something else. The Wolv'An have a word for it its called Ald'Ab which means Good Strength it is ones inner strength ones will to do good. Ones fiber or character. Ones Integrity. Ones Faith. That is all you need. None of these things are inherited they are chosen. Its not about what you think you cant do. Its about what you believe you can. That's what makes a man or woman worthy of rule and that's what makes them a hero.

Faylin: Not in the story you wrote for me, no. But I'm sure I must have, somewhere in the past. *blinks* Do you know how terribly odd it is not to HAVE a past other than what you've written?

Me: Ummmm...

Faylin: It's bad. And so is you saying 'um'. Seriously, could you think of nothing more to say?

Me: Well, I could say, 'I am at a loss for words', but that's kinda counter-productive, isn't it?

Faylin: I suppose so.

Me: Alright then. Maybe I'll send you home and bring in another character. One who doesnt mind cats.

Faylin: *growls*

ME: YEs. Indeed. I think that's a good idea. In fact, I'll go get one of my lousy characters and flesh them out a little maybe. *beams* THat sounds like a wonderful idea!

Lyr'Ous- Yes mostly human that is. As far as my experience goes I have quite a lot of it.

Me: This guy's mother and brother were taken out by wolves, so for him it's a personal thing. Since then he's gotten a few wolves himself.

*crouches low, resting belly to the ground, but is still very alert.*

*stiffens up and glares at Lyr'Ous*

Lyr'Ous- (Looking disturbed by his companions reaction) Don't mind him, he's insane, and the bear's to lazy to bite anyone without its master's command so you should be fine.

Tarkas: [Still looks a little nervous] A bear? I didn't know they got so big.

Tae: [Carefully pets Fu'Lah] Aw, she's soft.

Fu'Lah: (Looks up at the large cat lazily then slumps her head down again in a drowsy manner.)

Syl'V'Ous- Lyr'Ous and I have seen bigger right Lyr'Ous?

Lyr'Ous- No I'm afraid I haven't Fu'Lah is bigger than most Warhorses. Heck I slept in buildings smaller than her.

Syl'V'Ous- What are you implying Lyr'oUS (Syl'Ous's eye begins to twitch)

I'd like to correct a misconception... The cat isn't that big at all. Just about the size of a regular tomcat.

Me: Oh Sorry I assumed it was like a panther.

Tae: [Eyes go ] She must have had to eat a lot to get so big. Come pet her, Tarkas.

Tae: Scared?

Tarkas: No! I just... don't want to right now, that's all.

Syl'V'Ous- Yes and her favorite food is small children.
