Oh, dear Aussie, you know that's not how it works. I don't ask first. I just announce "I quoted you on Twitter." Except with 6-word stories and haiku. I try to ask first for those miniature bits of writing. Ridiculous quotes, however... if you say it on the forums, it's free game. *points to siggy*

Anyway... back to writing more epic Hemingways for me to gank, please.

I want to try!

"I don't know when my birthday is." Yes, I know that one has seven, but how could you shorten it?

You could say, "I don't know my own birthday."

I like the birthday one as well! You could also shorten by saying "donno" instead of "don't know." Depends on whether you want a more fantasy/formal feel (go with Bethany's option) or casual/modern.

That one is quite good, except that it is five words.

Another variation of the explosion.
