Lots and lots of new faces up today, y'all (thanks to flickr :D) - now at a grand total of 50. Check them out and see if there is one you can use:

http://www.face-finder.net

(By the way, this face belongs to a charrie of mine in a realistic fiction novel I'm planning)

Okay, maybe I'm going at this all wrong, but when I browse your faces, instead of thinking "Ah, that looks like my character," I think "I have to write about a character that looks like that." :shock:

*chuckles* I do that too. I added a character to my book because I found a person that I really liked and wanted to build a character around. :D

@Philli: Actually, 'tis most useful when you have a charrie that needs a face :P For my realistic fiction novel I browsed through the few faces we have up on there and within five minutes found two of the three MC's faces (#'s 28 and 48, btw :D)

I found the perfect one for my spoiled princess Anastasia, and one for my shy horse lover. (Might have to touch up the horse lover's face for myself, the eyes aren't quite right though.) :D

Lots and lots of new faces today :shock: All from MorgueFile, and they're UNBRANDED! That means you can legally use them in photomanips and the like. :) We've got 94 up in total now - so close to 100 :D Go check it out at:

Wow, this could be a very helpful resource! I have a lot of magazine clippings that I look through, but most of the pictures are pretty small. Maybe I'll donate...

One category I am particularly interested in seeing is guys with beards of different types. It is really hard to find a picture of somebody that looks like the person you are trying to draw, and at the same time have a beard in the right style. :P And then you have to make it up, and sometimes it comes out looking completely different from what it was supposed to.

@Elly: Thank you :)

@Camille Esther: Ooh, please do donate! :dieshappy:

I will try to keep an eye out for bearded fellows. Right now, the only source of new faces comes from various stock photo websites. It's hard to find much more than fashion models :/ But I will do my best :D

So... Do the pictures actually have to be 500 X 500? I'm not real sure what that means, or how to make it that way.

As long as they're square and as big or bigger as a full-size image on the site (when you click on one from the main page), that's big enough :)

Heeheehee! What a fun website! I'll have to donate . . . maybe. :rofl: It would be fun to see a picture of someone who would fit one of my characters. None so far, though, but potentially some in the future! How exciting. :D
