Tynx: This is getting crazier by the second.

Tynx: Kitty, put away the C-4. I promise I will personalliy find you something to blow up. Right now we- [Sees Tadix turn to stone] We... need to un-stonify Tadix... if dropping a cloth over the thing does that to him, blowing it up might be... worse.

Loki: [turns quickly to Tadix] "This should be simple. Let's see... a few words of properly pronounced pre-Valterrian magic words should do the trick nicely.

[clears throat]
Hahem

'Pomframity
Migglemits!'

[waves hands over Tadix]

There! As un-petrified as any could wish!

Etavke: Tadix said turned to stone, not petrified. And it's not working. You just caused him to melt.

(petrified means turned to stone)

Loki: "Nice try. You almost had me there, but I know I couldn't make that kind of mistake. So how are you feeling, Tadix?"

[ Egads! I'm so far behind.... >.<'
What'd I tell you when I said I might disappear at times...? ]

Meesha: *Snorts at newcomer's abrupt arrival and assertiveness, but lets the suddeness pass her need of concern. She feels slightly tense with the incoming of more people crowding around, of course all for the jewel, but that just causes her all the more of possessiveness. (Shiny=mine, as they say... ) Meesha blinks a few times in surprise, when Tadix turns to stone all of a sudden. It really is quite perplexing... She sniffs at his stiff, rock form tentatively, pulling back with another exhaled snort as she seems to glare at this confusing and unexpected change.*Most unusal... *She thought broodingly, but dewelled on the thought not too much longer when she noticed the newcomer daring to come even closer to the prized shiny... (a.k.a. the mystery jewel.) Her ears then flick backward momentarily when she hears the newcomer muttering strange words... Meesha stands once again to circle around Tadix and the shiny, before settling down, almost curled around them both practically. Her grass blade eyes giving a reproacheful stare at the others.* Typical Two-legs....


[ Oh! And thanks to you all for so generously taking the time to give a description of your chars! It really does help with visualing...
....And gather one's bearings on who's who and whatnot.

Note: Meesha sometimes (when she does talk/think) refers to humans as "Hoomahns" and then others as "Two-legs".
(Those of you who have read the cat series called Warriors, at least even one book, will have a good idea how i came about to the latter term. Therefore, I claim no originality nor ownership of the term. XD )

Tynx: Welcome back, Meesha and Crystluna! [Looks at Tadix] Well, this could be a problem... Ouskar, what happens if you remove the cloth?

Jaimie: "I think that we should fix Tadix and leave the stone alone. It's dangerous."

Kitty: But I wants to blow it up!!

Me: *drags Kitty out*

KLasina:

Me: *drags Kitty back in a moment later*

Kitty: Alrighty! Is Tadix stone or not? I think he's just coated in stone. Therefore we can just break it off of him and he'll be alright!

Klasina: Author, what did you do to her? O.O

Me: *whistles innocently*

Klasina: AUTHOR!

Me: Slight reworking of her character. Isn't she so much nicer now?

Klasina: Authors. Can't turn your back on them for a moment.

Me: Hey!

Tynx: [Unfortunately oblivious to Kitty's sudden disappearance and 'rewiring'.] I don't think we- [Blinks in surprise at Kitty's sudden change of ideas] Uh, yeah. We could try that.

Me: Preoccupied much?

Tynx: Hey, I'm a little tangled up in the story you have written for me. I'm gonna get cursed, here!

Me: Shhh! You'll be fine. That's not relevant to now, anyway. If anyone's cursed, I think it'd be Tadix. Poor guy can't seem to get along well with the jewel.

Tynx: Yeah, that's true...

Kitty: So.... does anyone have a hammer? Or shovel. Where did we leave the shovel?

Ouskar: *uncovers stone*

Tynx: I don't know. If we brought any out of the cave, they might be at the top of it, where we got out. Or they could be with the troll. [Looks at Tadix] Hope it works...

Tadix: **turns to Toxati again** Yes!!! Now...Where did I place my explosives? Black powder, all that stuff...

Kitty: So we're back to blowing it up?

Tynx: Tadix! We're not blowing it up! If just draping a cloth over it turned you to stone, what would happen to you if we blew it up? I promise I will find all of you something to blow up. But this gem... we don't know what it does, or what would happen...

Meesha: *Having been ignoring all the expressed distressed over the apparent "gem," Meesha continued playing with the idea of swiping the shiny, even after Tadix's curious transformation back to normal, which only then led her to ponder that mystery, too. Which then, of course, interrupted her thinkings [Yes. I'm using an unrealistic word. Always wanted to use it~ ] and understandably led to Meesha's evident irratation over the unexpected torrent of chaoticly clashing thoughts. It simply confused her and made her more frustrated. So miffed, to the point that her inner conflictions and vexation brimmed to the outside world.
Meesha stood up abruptly to then sit in an almost refined manner of position, her tail lashing briefly in mild expression of her inner workings. But during that momentary fit, Meesha's tail end had whipped about to accidentally knock over the shiny's origniation box, and something plopped out of the box right into the cushiony sand.*

Tynx: Meesha, you OK- [Yelps in alarm when Meesha's tail hits the box] What just fell out? The gem?

Ouskar: No, something else.

Kitty: *picks thing up* Oooo. It's a frog! Can I keep it?

This is really quite intriguing! Does anyone care if I just pop into the middle of this hilarious and odd adventure? xD

The more people, the more dangerous this journey gets!

....that's not exactly the most welcoming thing to say....

Sure, Viarri, we'd love to have ya.

Tynx: We don't mind! Hop in and hang on tight. Oh, don't touch the gem. We've been having issues with it. Tadix especially.

Me: "Jump on in, Viarri!"

Jaimie: "Okay, now can we leave the gem alone? Please?" I thought we were looking for treasure!"

Me: "You aren't sure why you did this, are you?"

Jaimie: "... Uh, not really."

Me: * grins *

Me: - pops into treasure hunt - So like this stone is... doing what?

Viarri: - pulls out Shatter - This'll teach it a lesson!

Me: No!!

Viarri: - sighs explosively and sheaths shatter - - Mutters - Nobody lets me do anything.

Me: - sighs as well - Honestly!

Skyburner: It looks like the dragon must come to the rescue. Again.

Viarri and Me:

Skyburner: So. What is wrong with the stone? I'll see what I can do.

Viarri: See?!?! You aren't stopping HIM!! - rolls eyes -

Me: Will you be QUIET?!?!

Viarri: I don't know. Will I? You decided my character to begin with. So it's your fault. Hmph.

Ouskar: Take it easy everyone. *checks through box and finds false bottom* Hmm. *opens it and pulls out an old map*

Me: - looks at map and raises eyebrows then chuckles and points to signature in bottom, right corner - Vadergern the Great. He is dead, but Viarri here had a tough time of killing him, ruthless villain!

Viarri: - peers over Ouskar's shoulder - Yish! Not him again!

Skyburner: - growls at map -

Viarri: I didn't know he buried treasure... I suppose he was hiding something very powerful, that he didn't want anyone else to be able to use.

Skyburner: The old Villain always was good at sharing.

Ouskar: Most interesting now. Why is the map with the gem?

Me: - shrugs -

Viarri: Good question. Maybe Vadergern didn't want anyone finding his precious map, so he found someone who could touch the stone and... I don't know.

Skyburner: That someone was probably a dragon.

Viarri: Come on, Sky! you haven't even proved that YOU can touch the stone!

Skyburner: - reaches out to touch stone -

Viarri: AHH! No! I didn't mean touch it!!

Skyburner: - touches stone - - electrical currents start surrounding the gem, and then, with a loud crack, the gem splits in two, revealing a small box inside -

Viarri: You continue to amaze me, Sky.

Skyburner: Hmph.

Kitty: *plays with frog*

Klasina: You broke the gem! What's in that box? *looks at it, but does not touch it, for fear of being turned into stone like Tadix was*

Kitty: *puts frog on Tynx's head*

Me: o.o

Me: - eats a Jelly bean -

Viarri: - reaches out to pick up box -

Me: No!!! - lunges at Viarri -

Viarri: - Laura is too late and Viarri picks up box, with out a trace of turning to stone and opens it up -

Me: - tackles Viarri and box goes flying -

Viarri: Now look what you've done!!

Skyburner: - catches box with a paw and sets on ground -

- box is empty -

Viarri: It's contents must have gone flying when Laura TACKLED ME!!

Kitty: *picks up another frog* Is this it?

Me: What is it with you and frogs?

Viarri: I only caught a glimpse of it... - peers at brownish-green frog. - I don't think that is it... I think whatever it was was blueish.

Me: - brushes off clothes - Well, I'm sorry I sent it flying... but you really should be more careful. Just think what could of happened!

Viarri: Well it didn't hurt me! So there!

Skyburner: - blinks in a rather bored fashion - And I suppose no one is going to thank the dragon? Of course not! They could have easily opened the stone all by themselves! They don't need the dragon, oh no!

Viarri and Me:

Me: Sorry, Sky. I was kinda caught up in taking care of Viarri. - sends a frustrated glance in Viarri's direction - But thank you, very much. I am sorry I lost the fruits of your endeavors.

Htogarh: - walks in, carrying a tiny, blue-furred, chipmunk - Hey, Viarri! Look what I found!

Viarri: Htogarh! where did you find that?!

Htogarh: Um... It - uh - came flying at me and hit me in the face. Poor little guy was scared half to death.

Viarri: THANK YOU SO MUCH!! - hugs Htogarh - - takes chipmunk -

Me: Htogarh! I knew I couldn't have created you for nothing!

Htogarh: Uh... thanks? I guess.

Skyburner: Htogarh, won't you stay and help us search for treasure?

Htogarh: Uh... sure? I guess.

Viarri: - chuckles - Well stop guessing and join us!

Htogarh: - grins at Viarri - Okay.

Tadix: **examines chipmunk** Isn't it a rather odd color? I mean, bright yellow isn't exactly what a chipmunk usually looks like....

Me: - points at blueish streaks in fur - Neither is that.

Viarri: Well, it must be of some importance. Or Vadergern wouldn't have hid it in the stone.

Htogarh: Maybe it can shoot lightning from it's paws.

Me: What?

Htogarh: - shrugs - I don't know. Just an idea.

Viarri: Hmmm, anyone have any ideas?

Tynx: [Smiles as the frog settles on his head, croaking contentedly] Goodness, first a gem, now a box, now a a... blue chipmunk? [Stands up on his hind legs to see the chipmunk. Doesn't bother trying to remove frog from head, which is very obviously interfering with his balance] I've never seen something like that before. [Nudges animals lightly with his paw] Wonder how long it's been in there?

Kitty: The poor thing. Can it talk?

Chipmunk: - has a very high, squeaky, female voice - Yes I can! And I am no IT! Thank you very much! Hmph.

Viarri: - cries out when Chipmunk begins speaking - It - I mean.. SHE talks!

Htogarh:

Me: - grins -

Viarri: What? You knew it all along didn't you!

Me: Knew what?

Viarri: That the chipmunk could... well... er, TALK!

Me: Why yes, of course! I created her.

Skyburner: - nuzzles chipmunk - Greetings, small one.

Chipmunk: Greetings. - turns to Laura - I HAVE a name. - scowls -

ME: - chuckles - Yes. You do, Sapphire.

(I am considering using this little darling in other places around the Character Role Playing rooms. Should I introduce her? She isn't from any of my stories...)

Tynx: [Jumps back in alarm] She talks! Maybe she knows why the gem did what it did?

Me: It'd be interesting. Maybe you'd find some place in a story for her.

[ Hoo boy... Seems things have gotten even more crazy in so little time! XD

Meesha: *Has been crying in shocked-into-silence mortification over the breaking of the shiny. She starts to come back to present when the tiny, blue chipmunk is noticed in her radar. Her horrified expression returns as she stares at the minute creature.* ....it talks..

[Btw, just a fun side note to better help portray my char's uh... astonishment over a dear object hindered. look at image and description.. ]

Me: Haha. Poor Meesha.

Tynx: [Looks at Meesha] Come see the chipmunk, Meesha. I think she's friendly.

Kitty: Another talking animal! Yays! *hugziz the chipmunk*

Klasina: I think someone's been sneaking caffeinated pop...

Me: Apparently.

Sapphire: - raises eye brows. - Did you EXPECT me to be like my COUSINS?! Those dim witted, tongue-tied little things?! - looks of disgust -

Htogarh: She is rather snappy.

Viarri: She is worse than Skyburner - nudges Sky - Hard to believe!

Skyburner: - snorts -

Me: Sapphire no one was calling you your cousin. How could we? Look at that gorgeous fur you have! Do your cousins have such beautiful fur? Of course not! There. See? We knew you weren't like them. - winks at everybody else -

Me: *Laughs* I have enjoyed the part I missed. Quite amusing. Anyways, sorry for being gone for so long!

Alina: Looks shocked at the frog ribitting at her feet, but picks it up* Klasi...what did Kitty eat? O.o

Adrien: It's a blue chipmunk...There's a blue chipmunk that came out of a box that came out of a stone that came out of a time bomb....WHAT THE HECK?!

Alina: Adrien, calm down.

Adrien: Does anyone find this just a tiny bit odd?!?!

Me: Sure, it's a bit bizarre, but I'm having a conversation with a fictional character . And on that note I'm going to bring Eileene in.

Alina and Adrien:

Alina: What? You can't do that!

Adrien: Noooo! Not Eileene!

Tynx: [Nudges Sapphire with his nose] Why were you stuck in the gem? [Looks at Adrien] It's OK. The chipmunk is friendly. I think.

Me: Way to have the voice of confidence there.

Tynx: You try believing it's friendly when it's yelling at you and it's been living in a gem that nearly kidnapped our friend.

Chipmunk: Hmph. That idiot of a Vadergern put me in there because I knew too much. I thought Your friend was Vadergern come to try and convince me to work for him, for like the 50th time. Never works with chipmunks. We do, what we want to do, when we want to do it and HOW we want to do it.

Viarri:

Htogarh: Um... - whispers to Viarri - Vadergern is dead. Maybe we should tell her that...

Chipmunk: He is what?!?!

Viarri: Dead...

Chipmunk: - chuckles in funny way and claps hands together -

Adrien: Okaaaay, so we now have a morbid Chipmunk. *Laughs awkwardly/crazily* How much better can this get?

Koon: Odd. **eyes glaze over** The chipmunk will injure. Beware the ice.

Tadix: **pokes Koon** Stop that, will you? You don't want to scare them with...that odd thing you can do.

I haven't fully developed it, but people from his race often develop the ability to see into the future (like, maximum 1 yr). This causes some trouble occasionally.

Chipmunk: What on earth...

Viarri: Oh dear. No more future telling please! It is sooooo creepy. - shudders -

Htogarh: Hmmmm

Skyburner: Maybe she is of the ancient chipmunk race... It is said they would have a yellow star-shape on their belly...

Viarri: Hmmm - reaches and begins to turn chipmunk over -

Chipmunk - infuriated - - bites Viarri's hand - Don't handle me as if I were some play thing!

Viarri: Yeeeouch!! - finger is bleeding - That thing is vicious.

Chipmunk: Hmph.

Koon: **eyes still glazed over** The ice is coming. The injury is but a delay. The wave is rising.

Tadix: COULD YOU PLEASE STOP THAT?

Koon: What? What was I doing?

Tadix: Never mind.
