Gram: Actually, for about 132 years, I thought so too. Then I realized it was only specific spots. Say, I jump into Hogwarts Castle, then leave. I can no longer jump straight into the castle again.

I can go to China though.

Gram: Wonderful people to be around. Unfortunately, they have a couple glaring socio-economic bombs that are about to go off. On the other hand, their culture has quite literally launched a billion ships to the wind.

Their absolute monopoly on the Anime industry, their invention of the kick-butt martial arts, and their ability to make almost anything (albeit with great effort), is truly remarkable.

Then again... there's the smog...... I can never stay there long...

Gram: I'm a ghost ma'm. Pleased to meet you *bows*

Tevinta: *gingerly handles the glowing blade* It's beautiful. Does it have a name? The names of mine do have meanings, but...eheh...my author hasn't figured out my language well enough to know what they mean.
Jack: *sees Gram* *grins* Hello! ...It must be fun being a ghost. Wow! All the practical jokes you could play! My friends would never forgive me! *becomes more serious* ...How...how did it happen...?
Tilovar: (thinking) A ghost. How interesting.

Hope: *shrugs, eyeing Gram with an odd expression* It has been given many names in many languages. I don't actually know how to pronounce any of them or translate them. It's just my sword, one of many hat are basically identical. Makes it easier to equip the army that way. I am sure your author will figure out the language eventually. Most do.

Lajh: *stares at Tilovar* *shivers a little bit*

Jack: Hm. Is it much different than time travel? Can you do other cool things like walk through walls? *grins* Can you fly?

Gram: Not really, Yes, and Yes. I can pass straight through you, spy on anything, pass through anything, even stick my head in the TARDIS and foot through the side. It looks weird when that happens, because I stand in front of the door inside the box, stick my hand through the wall next to the door, and see it come out the side of the TARDIS with a mirror.

Hope: *watches them grow, confused* How did you manage that?

Jack: That's great. Nobody told us that being a ghost could be that much fun. I mean, ghosts are always supposedly creepy or sad. But, really its more like having a superpower. Though, come to think of it, it is kind of weird.

Tevinta and Tilovar: *grin and wink at each other*
Tilovar: What games?
Tevinta: (thinking) Did he just call me a child? *chuckle*

Gram: Ehh.. It's not as fun as you might think....

Jack: ...Gets boring after a while? *wry smile* ......Do you wish you were still human?
Tevinta: (to Hope) This? Oh, I'm just stretching. Completely natural, eh Tilo?
Tilovar: *overly casual* This? Oh, yes what of this? ' do it all the time.

Gram: In some ways, yes, though I shudder to think of what kind of human I was before I transcended.

Hope: Well, I suppose it would keep your spine healthy, with stretching it that way. I can't do many thing like that though. *pauses, and then closes her eyes, and moves her hands in a figure eight motion* *a tree grows from sapling to mighty oak before their eyes* That's what I can do.

Gram: Sweet! That looks cool, Hope. Is this an acquired trick or where you born with that ability?

Hope: It's complicated. The ability to reshape reality to a minor level comes from my Yllren heritage and I had to learn to use it.

Tevinta and Tilovar:

Hope: *shrugs with a smug smile*

Gram: Neat. What brought you here to this place, Hope?

Hope: I was trying to fold to the Crab Nebula but I ran into a storm and ended up here.

Gram: . . . . So that's why I couldn't find it anymore......

Why did you try and fold that?

Jack Folding nebulas? How...?

Hope: I didn't try to fold it. I tried to fold to it. It's how we travel, folding space-time to bring the point we're at with the point we wish to arrive at.

Gram: Ooohhhhh... Moving, without moving.

Neat! What went wrong? Last I saw, hydrogen atoms did not bond themselves with Cesium and Unudunbium. Ya really did a number on that galaxy...

Hope: A storm in the folds of the universe threw the fold of sync and I ended up here. As for why the Crab Nebula is missing, it was destroyed in a battle. I was looking for survivors.

Jack: This is all very cool and confusing. Tell me, how does one destroy a nebula?
Tevinta and Tilovar:

Hope: Fairly simple, really. All it takes is momentum and mass approximately half as much as found in a supernova and that will disperse the dusts and gas.

Gram: Hunh... You good with math and physics like that?

Hope: Not particularly, but it's easy enough to do. Disable the cooling systems on the recapture in a Yllren battle cruiser to force it into meltdown, and the subsequent explosion will release enough energy and radiation t destroy a nebula. *face darkens* It happened once to us already.

Gram: My, my. Your technology is quite advanced.

How about you, Jack. What's your world like?

Hope: I would think so, since the Yllren have been at war longer than the multiverse has been in existence.

Gram: It's hard to conceive something that existed before existence itself...

How does that work? The Yllren butting heads before space and time existed in others worlds.

Hope: It's complicated, and I'm not entirely sure how. The pure Yllren don't like to talk of it, but there seems to have been sort of schism before the multiverse was formed that led to crushing defeats for our side until Lyrianur turned the tide.

Jack: I'm really quite blown away by all of this. Really quite sad, destroying nebulas, but I get it now. I'm sorry about all the wars, Hope. Really I am. Our technology on Earth isn't nearly as fantastic. I mean, we've got spaceships, and some pretty cool space telescopes, but nothing quite as well, futuristic yet. I think the scientists are working on it, though . As it is, I'm happy enough with my computers . Hehe. Me and my best friend have races to see who can hack the other's first. It's pretty fun.
Tevinta: We don't even have technology....

Gram: When you speak of the multi-verse, do you mean every single alternate universe, or simply the parallel universes of your own?

Hope: *shrugs* The Yllren were created to be guardians and warriors, but when the sundering came and half abandoned their purpose, it pretty much guaranteed a very long war. The tragedy is that we're losing.

Perhaps then, Earth's less advanced technology is a blessing. *sighs*I do miss my iPod though.
