Ouskar: You all should start getting out before the tide rolls in. *dodges another swipe, and lunges in and jabs the troll, backs out of range*

Jaimie: * climbs up the rope for dear life * "In another few minutes it'll be too high, Ouskar!!!"

Osukar: *backs toward rope* Go!

Alina: Hold on Jaimie! *runs back to the rope and pulls Jaimie up* We need to get Klasi out right away!

Troll: [Roars in pain, stomping in a furious temper tantrum, swinging his club]

Tynx: [Secures Adrien to the rope like a harness] Jaimie, Alina, pull him up! Quick! Kitty. [Grabs kitty and tosses her up] Klasi, catch Kitty!

Me: She's going to kill you.

Tynx: So long as she lives I don't care.

Crystluna: Is it too late to join in?
Or should I best wait 'till the climax has settled..?

???: No...! I don't wanna go in there!

Tynx: The troll is down in a hole. And unless it can climb, I don't think it's coming out. But if it does we'll- [Is smacked] Hey!

Me: Don't.

Tynx: We'll just force back in. [Glares at me] The tide's coming in any time now, too. so if we can keep it down here, we won't have a troll to worry about.

Me: You sound way too confident.

Tynx: I have to. It keeps me from freaking out.

Alina: *starts to pull Adrien's unconscious body up as Kitty zooms through the air and lands next to Klasi* Ouch. That's gotta hurt... *grimace*

Me: Hi Crystluna! *waves* My characters are Alina (15) and Adrien (19) they are not siblings, but think of each other as such. Glad to have you aboard!

Kitty: *screams as she lands* Really, Tynx? You don't care as long as I'm alive? Awwwww.

Klasi: *clings to Alina* Since I'm not sure what bones I broke falling down there, I think I can stand...

Kitty: *groans and picks self off up floor* Your logic... is flawed...

Ouskar: *backs up towards rope* If anyone's got a bow, now would be the time to use it.

Jaimie: * pulling Adrien up as quickly and smoothly as she can * "None here, Ouskar! Can you use a shovel as a spear-thing?"

Me: "Um..."

Jaimie: (to ???) "We need all the help we can get!"

Me: "Jaimie is about 24 and is...overprotective. She's also rather hard to get close to."

Ouskar: *grabs rope with one arm* Maybe you should just pull me up then.

Jaimie: "Yeah." * starts pulling * "Can I have some help here?"

Ouskar: *jabs at at troll with other arm*

Kitty:

Me: Oh fine... have it your way.

Kitty: *shape-shifts into a 15 year old girl and helps Jamie pull*

Me: I can't believe I did that.

Klasi: I can.

Me: Shush.

Troll: [Roas and swipes at Ouskar]

Tynx: [Smiles] Nah, not much. Pull him up, girls! [Faces troll] Come this way, Stinky! Over here!

[A faint sound of sloshing water fills the cave]

Ouskar: *swings out of the way* Just a bit farther...

Jaimie: * makes a face and pulls *

Ouskar: *reaches up and grabs edge, then vaults up to the top* *sprawls on the ground, panting* N-need to get m-moving.

Tynx: [Shifts back into a bat and flutters up and out of the hole, then shifts back into fox form] Whoo, that was fun. Everyone alright? How's Adrien?

Jaimie: * stretches arms * "Oww... Adrien!" * rummages for bandages * "Someone try to wake him up. Klasi, stay still. Here."

Kitty: *shifts into a kitten again and licks Adrien's face in an attempt to wake him up*

Klasi: *stays still* Um, question, if I'm laying outside the cave, and the water is coming in through the entrance of the cave... shouldn't I be drowning right now?

Ouksar: Possibly. We better start going out though.

Tynx: I don't think she's out of the cave, just out of the hole. [Peers below] I don't see the troll. Let's get moving before it realizes what's going on.

Jaimie: "I think the current's too strong, especially for injured people. We could try going farther back to find some higher ground." * hands bandages to Alina * "Can you wrap these around Klasi's ankle? Tight enough to support her ankle, but don't cut off circulation."

Ouskar: That would mean going through an angry troll.

Jaimie: "Is there any way we could go around the hole?"

Me: "Since going through it failed?"

Jaimie: * glares *

Me: "Sorry."

Tynx: Can we jump?

Me: Do you think your party is well enough to jump?

Tynx: Killjoy.

Me: You'll thank me later.

Tynx: [Huffs] Dragon form would be a bit too big... How large is the hole?

Kitty: I saw another tunnel over there. *motions to the right, away from the pit* Maybe it'd work?

Klasina: Even if it gets us high enough, we'd be trapped till the tide goes out again. *worries*

Jaimie: "We're basically stuck already. If we don't get somewhere higher, we'll, um, drown."

Ouskar: Absolutely true.

Tynx: Well, let's go higher up. If the water's already on its way, heading towards what we're trying to avoid isn't the best way to avoid it. We came down here to explore the cave, I'm sure there gotta be something a lot more interesting than almost getting eaten by a smelly troll.

Me: Words of inspiration, those are.

Tynx: You stay out of it. Let's head down the tunnel Kitty saw. [Shifts into a human to carry Adrien]

Kitty: *shifts into a human and helps Klasina towards the tunnel*

Me: Weren't you already human?

Kitty: I can't keep track.

Klasina: *limps along, supported by Kitty*

Ouskar: *follows them*

Me: Bards may be awesome, but they don't have anything to breathe underwater.

Ouskar: I'll think of something.

Jaimie: "Maybe there's a shelf we can climb up on... I think that when we stop seeing piles of seaweed-" * wrinkles nose * "-that should give us an idea that we're far enough."

Ouskar: Yes, it should.

Tynx: If it makes you feel any better, Ouskar, I don't think any of us have anything to breathe underwater. But of course, what are authors for?

Me: Making sure you don't get yourself killed.

Tynx: ...Well, yeah, there's that. Everyone keep an eye on seaweed. If it stops, we know we'll be out of wter's reach. I think.

Kitty: I could shape-shift into a fish.

Klasina:

Kitty: Or maybe not... *continues on up the tunnel*

Ouskar: *grumbles about making sure to talk to someone* I think I see some seaweed ahead of us.

Me: Sorry I was gone so long!!

Alina: Yes ma'am! *bandages Klasi up and help her walk*

Adrien: *groans and starts blinking...groans again, remembers the troll and starts thrashing* Aghhh! *roars and punches Tynx wildly*

Me: Someone should knock him out again...I liked him better that way...

Ouskar: Steady, lad. You're fine now. We need to get to high ground.

Adrien: *gasps and realises where he is* Tynx, I- I thought you were the troll, I- Sorry, Sir.

Tynx: Whoa! [Stumbles back and puts Adrien down] Mm, you got me good. That would've shown the troll a thing or two. [Looks at Adrien] It's alright, you've been out for a while. Are you hurt anywhere?

Klasina: *ahead of everyone else because Alina and Kitty are helping her* I don't see anymore seaweed ahead of me. Ya'll should go back and help with Adrien.

Kitty: He appears to be in fine health... *tries not to giggle at the bump on Tynx's head*

Klasina: Do something useful then!

Kitty: *shifts into a kitty, glares at Klasi, and trots off to see if there's anything she can do*

Ouskar: I can see light up ahead!

Jaimie: "I see it too!" * helps Adrien * "We're almost there..." * the tide laps a little closer *

Tynx: [Looks at Kitty] What? [Looks ahead] Alright! Let's get up there quick! [Helps Adrien to his feet] Once we get to the light, we'll have a headcount and make sure everyone's alright.

Ouskar: *reaches light* It's a hole in the roof!

Tynx: Awesome! How big is it?

Ouskar: Can't tell. It's too far up.
