There's a Hemingway challenge and a haiku challenge. I thought we needed a rhyming couplet challenge!

In example:

My favorite part of the book
Is the logline, or the hook

Both lines have six words and rhyme. You don't have to have the same amount of words, though.

Wow, that was great!
Now I must create.

Are there supposed to be six words? Or any amount?

However many words you want,
In any color, size, or font

This reminds me of the time
I entered rap battles online.

No, there is no limit to words we can use
The word count is up to you to choose.

Let's hope no one starts rhyming all the time

But with my schedule they do conflict

I think this thread was for words that rhyme,
But smilies: that's for another time.

Smilies seem to make some people confused
So perhaps, therefore, they should not be used

But smilies animate my face,
That you cannot see from your place.

But I guess, if you must insist,
I will refrain, I will resist;

Not to use a smile so cheery,
And end this rhyme oh so dreary.

Smilies are just fine, and animated you may be
It just seems wise not to end a line with a smilie

The sky outside is dull and grey,
Perfect weather to go out and play.

I wish that I was young again for a day,
And relive the days I knew how to play.

Is please do not ask me to go away.

I know my rhymes may not be smart
But they are spoken from my heart.

Some famous rhymes are now the stuff of dreams,
Like diamond necklaces or strawberry creams.

Others are written for people to see
Translated into languages for many a country.

So depise not these beginnings of mine which are small;
Without your help, I could falter and fall.

Well I am late for this rhyming game,
So lesser then yours is my rhyming name,
