Ahoy!

Here I am introducing Victoria and Julliana once again because they were getting quite under-developed in my other thread. So, here they are, and I hope you will enjoy interacting with them. They do live on earth, but if you have characters from other planets/worlds, that's OK. They'll just have to deal with it.

Other details: She likes being optimistic and encouraging, is satisfied with what she has in life, sees no point in God because she “is good” and wants control in her life.

Victoria: *twiddles thumbs* "So... What exactly are we supposed to do again?"

Julliana: "Something like in the previous threads we've been in. Come on, introduce yourself all ready!"

Victoria: "Well, uh, my name is Victoria Amber Woods, I love to run, I am a Christian, have an amazing home, and also have a great best friend named Julliana."

Julliana: "And...?"

Victoria: "My father is a self-employed computer consultant, or the guy you go for tech help. My mom works away from home and is very pretty. I have a twin named Aaron, and two younger siblings as well. Your turn, Julliana!"

Julliana: "OK. My name is Julliana Rich. I know my name is spelled a little unusually, but I like it that way. I'm fifteen years old, love to run as well, and don't follow any religions or anything. I think I'm fine the way I am, and don't really see the point to all that stuff."

Me: "So here they are. Have fun with them!"

Julliana: "Is anyone here yet?" *looks around thread with hopeful eyes*

Victoria: "Obviously not! You're a little over-optimistic I think."

Julliana: "Thanks, Johnny Raincloud!"

Victoria: "That's more like it."

Julliana: "Anyways, where is everyone? I want to start the party!"

Me: "Don't worry. They'll be here soon enough... I hope." *headdesk* "Why am I explaining this to my characters?"

Julliana: "Because we want to know why we aren't being developed."

Victoria: "I think she expects us to know the answers to these questions because we're inside her head."

Me: "It's just like talking to myself... except better."

Brian: * pulling Emuna along by her wrist * Come on, Emuna, I'm sure they are friendly.

Emuna: No, I don't want to.

Brian: Come on.

Emuna: * sighs * * walks into thread * Good day! * curtseys*

Gavin: When she'd get manners?

Brian: * glares at Gavin *

Gavin: * raises his hands in defense * All right, all right, no need to be pushy....

Victoria: "Hello everyone! I'm sorry we're a little late, but I was pulled into another Character Development thread." *glares at Julliana*

Julliana: "What? Why are you looking at me that way? Didn't you like that thread?"

Victoria: "Yes... but... well, you know. I like to have things organized and not flying everywhere."

Julliana: "You like to have control. I know! That's how I am, but I don't limit myself because of that."

Victoria: *to Brian* "Yes, we are very friendly!"

Julliana: "Although Victoria sometimes bites..."

Victoria: *glares* "Not really." *extends hand to shake* "Very nice to meet you, Brian, Gavin, and Emuna!"

Julliana: "Why did you curtsy, Emuna? Is it part of your culture, or are you royalty?" *considers curtsying back*

Victoria: "Brian, just out of curiosity, but why did you insist on coming in here instead of Emuna? Is she tired of other threads?"

Julliana: *looks at Gavin* "I think he could use a few manner lessons himself..."

Emuna: Hello! Oh... I curtsied because that is what we do in Realta...is that not what they do where you are from?

Brian: Tired of other threads? No...she just doesn't like socializing...

Gavin: My manner lessons were over long ago, for your information!

Emuna: You could use more, in my opinion.

Gavin: Well, that's your opinion, doesn't count.

Julliana: "No. We usually just give a firm handshake. What is Realta? A city in Europe?"

Victoria: "It is unfortunate that she doesn't enjoy socializing, because we love being social. Forums, facebook, cell phones, texting, you name it, we probably have it if it has to do with being social."

Julliana: "Would a second opinion help it count? Because I have one..."

Victoria: "It's just his personality!" *pauses, a spark of realization comes over her face, says shocked* "Wait... aren't you normally the optimistic one defending everyone?"

Julliana: "Yes... but I do have a certain standard for manners..."

Emuna: "No...not Europe. A town in Chevl'Set. Just behind the Northen mountains, tucked away in the Forest of the Three Villages."

Brian: "Facebook? Cell phones?.... What is all these things you speak of?"

Gavin: "No! A second opinion would not help!"

Julliana: "That sounds beautiful! Perhaps I could travel there some day?"



Victoria: "Hmm... Let me go grab my laptop and cell phone and I'll show you." *runs into her house to grab her electronics* "So, this is a computer. On it, it has a huge file that is accessible to all who have internet. Part of this file is a forum called Facebook, where you can tell others about yourself and talk about what you've been up to recently..." *headdesk* "Julliana, can you help me?"

Julliana: "Hm.... well, Brian, take a look at the laptop and ask us any questions... I really don't know where to start otherwise."



Julliana: "Too late! You already have one!" *goes to look up etiquette classes* "Perhaps we could all take lessons together and make it easier for you?" *finds a number, calls, and books a class for the next afternoon* "At least, I'll go." *looks over at Victoria on her computer*

Victoria: "Oh, uh, sorry. I'll stay here with Brian and Emuna and see if I can figure out how to describe internet..."

Emuna: Perhaps you may visit someday...

Brian: * looks at laptop * * holds laptop upside down * How... Interesting.... * looks at keyboard * What are all of these symbols? What do they mean?

Emuna: * looks at laptop * Does it run on some... Invisible force? How does it light up like that?

Gavin: Etiquette lessons? I shall take no lessons!

Victoria: *takes Laptop back* "Be careful, please! That cost a lot of money! Those symbols are letters, numbers, punctuation marks, and various symbols that mean certain words in our language. They are arranged in a format that makes it easy to insert into the computer... like so."

Julliana: *headdesk* "Do you know what a light bulb is?"

Victoria: "Um... they're like tiny little multi-colored candles that change color according to what you are looking at. Each letter typed into the computer gives a command that changes the color and picture on the screen. It does run on an invisible force called electricity, which is that staticy stuff that comes from lightning bolts and makes your hair stand straight up."

Julliana: *heads towards etiquette class dragging Gavin along with her by the ear* "We'll see you later!"

Victoria: *to Brian and Emuna* "So... what have you guys been up to recently?"

Emuna: Candles in the device?... How does it not set on fire?

Gavin: *grabs Julliana's wrist and twists it so she'll let go of him* Do not touch the chief's son, peasant!

Emuna: *touches Gavin with her index finger*

Gavin: *glares at Emuna*

Brian: *pulls Emuna away* We have been very busy lately... I'd imagine it'd be hard to recall it all.

Hello, everyone.

Eruheran: *Bows low* Welcome to Holy Worlds.

Me: This is Eruheran. He...* whispers* has no story. Yet *whispers*

Zaciré: Most felicitous salutations and happy returns of the day.

Me: This is Zaciré. He's the hero of my current fantasy novel. He doesn't usually talk like that; but that is a common greeting of the enclave, where he is from.

Numaryá: Hello. It's nice to meet you both. Vicky, can you bring your twin as well? I'd love to meet her too. You both sound very nice and polite, from what I can read *skims thread*

Eruheran: *Glares at Gavin* Has not your high breeding taught you to be courteous to those who are trying to assist you?

Me: Okey doke, y'all have fun here. Hopefully it's a little bit saner than the main character introductions I'll be back later

Victoria: "The candles are enclosed in glass, like in a lantern. However, they are so tiny, there are billions of them on the screen."

Julliana: "What on earth do you mean? Chief? Peasant? Are you a Native American or something?"



Victoria: *extends hand to shake eruheran, Zaciré, and Numaryá's hands* "Hello. It's nice to meet you all! What is it like where you all come from? As for bringing in my twin-"

Aaron: "Her?! You thought I was a her?!!! Just because I take ballet does not make me a her! I am very much a him, thank you!"

Victoria: "This is Aaron, my twin. He's pretty epic. Aaron, these are my new friends."

Aaron: "Very nice to meet you all." *extends hand to shake* "We also have two younger siblings. But, they may come in at a later time..."

Julliana: "Thank you, eruheran! I'm glad somebody understands!" *extends hand to shake eruheran's hand* "My name is Julliana. It's very nice to meet you. What does your name mean? I like it."

Me: Sorry for being late Life has been busy.

Numaryá: My apologies, Aaron. I have never met twins who were not of the same gender.

eruheran: *mutters* She's had a sheltered life.

Me: How do you know? You're from completely different times

Zaciré: @Aaron: Pleased to meet you *shakes hand *

Numaryá: @Victoria: Epic? *thinks * I don't know this word.

Me: Well, time to go I'll try to get to this sooner next time

Me: The things characters know....

Aaron: "It's OK, girl. I don't offend easily."



Aaron: *shakes hand back* "Nice to meet you. I'm curious, what form of dancing do you all have around where you come from?"

Victoria: "In fact, where do you come from?"

Julliana: "Hmmm... Well, epic is usually used to express something is great or amazing. Or it's a form of a poem. Usually, now a days, it means something really really really awesome."

Aaron: "According to Webster's Dictionary, Epic is: 1. of, relating to, or having the characteristics of an epic <an epic poem>
2. extending beyond the usual or ordinary especially in size or scope <his genius was epic — Times Literary Supplement>"

Victoria: "This is why I love my brother!"

Zaciré@Aaron: The men of my community have many different dances. Would you like me to show a few?

Me: Think something like the Russian cossack dances

Numarya: Only the men dance - the men and women never dance together. But we women have our own special dances as well.

Eruheran: I...do not dance.

Numarya@Victoria: We are from the world of Enderion. Zac and I are from the Enclave; it's a small nation on the continent of Flerre, in the east.

Eruheran: I am from Mesal, on the continent of Al-Diurina, far to the west

Numarya@Julliana: I see We have many "epic" poems, then. The stories of Enderion are many

Me: OK, got to go

Aaron: "Only if you let me perform a few of my own dances for you! But... I shall need a partner." *looks at Numarya* "Will you dance with me? You look like you could flow well with my music. You just move with it."

Victoria: "Um...We come from Earth, in the country of the United States, one of the largest countries out there..." *thinks* "I think it's the largest... Anyways, we come from..." *looks at me* "Which state do we come from?"

Me: "Um... Pick Tennessee for now. We'll discuss that later."

Victoria: "We come from Tennessee, a state in our country. Our country is to the West."

Julliana: "This is so weird having to explain our country..." *to Numarya* "That's one way of using epic..."

Me: I love meeting people from now, just because everything has to be explained

Numarya: *nervously* I suppose. *inches towards Aaron*

Eruheran:

Tennessee is a great and mighty empire? Does it rule over these States you spoke of? If we are speaking of empires then of course I am interested

Zaciré: Do you like Tennessee? Is it beautiful there? Is the ruler fair?

Me *is very aware that the Cap'n picked Tennessee on the spur of the moment but is asking these questions anyways* And now I've got to go

*Nudges characters forwards*
Me: They are not on here enough to be able to keep up with CI... so ya'll play nice!

Svensteel: Oh no! Another character introduction topic...

Michael: Haha! More playing time!

Krystal: Hey! Perk up Steelie!

Michael: Steelie?

Krystal: *Gigles*

Gilead: Krystal and Svensteel sitting in a tree...

Eruheran: Nice to meet you all.

Me: Can you make this quick, guys - I've got stuff to do!

Zacire: *miffed* Fine. Hello, all.

Numarya: *whispers* Hi.

Svensteel: Enough? The gods created you, you know. You have no-

Krystal: He has a point Sven...

Michael: See! *Smiles at Krystal* *Looks at Numarya and Zacire* *Bows low* If there is anything you need at all, I am at your service. I am quite well known in trade of all sorts, and I could get you anything you want. So ask and be answered.

Aaron: *grabs Numarya, and begins a dance from Swan Lake*



Victoria: *cough* "Well, um, actually... Tennessee is just a member of a larger government... we don't live in an empire, but a democracy..."

Julliana: "We love Tennessee! With the beautiful rolling hills and such. And Ruby Falls! You must see Ruby Falls! As for the 'ruler'... well, it's more a matter of opinion on whether or not you think he's fair... I don't discuss politics often."



Victoria: "Have we..."

Julliana: "...met before?"

Victoria: "I haven't met Krystal, I know... Hi! My name is Victoria. That's my twin, Aaron, over there dancing, and this is my best friend, Julliana." *holds out hand to shake, but has an odd feeling of dejavous and thinks she knows the response she'll get* "You mention gods..." *shakes head*

Julliana: "No, no, no! You are NOT getting into that argument again!"
