The faeries’ eyes can be any colour. They are small and pointy, but have a regular size iris and pupil. Their noses are small and rounded, and slightly turned up at the end, while their mouths are small and full. The faeries’ faces are round with a slightly pointed chin. Their ears are slightly pointed, and poke out a little bit from their head. The females’ hair is waist length, while the males’ is regular length. Their hair can be straight or curly, and any colour. The faeries’ bodies are petite, and they average about 7 centimetres tall. They have wings coming out of their backs. Their skin can have any tone.

The female faeries’ clothing is made out of any colour of wispy fabric. It is comprised of a loose fitting dress, belted at the waist. The males’ clothing can also be any colour, but is a somewhat heavier fabric. It is comprised of a belted tunic and pants.

The faeries’ speech is neither fast nor slow, and sounds very melodious. They enjoy talking. Their movements are smooth, fluttery and lightning swift.

Faeries are kind and caring. They are highly curious, but are usually patient. Faeries are hasty and somewhat loud.

Faeries like bright colours, shiny objects, change, speed and wind. They dislike drab colours, mud, life without change, and water.

Sunshine, flowers, and gold are beneficial to their health. Darkness, iron, and silver can be damaging and/or lethal.

Faeries can be subdivided into four sub-races: plant, weather, light and dark. I won’t get into them now, but if you’re interested…maybe in the future!

The things I have outlined here are what is usually the case. It is possible for faeries to differ from this description. Those who do are either shunned or adored. If you have any questions about why I made them a certain way, ask away! It will help me to solidify them.

Why do all your different types of kinds (by that I mean the elemental, destroying, and people) have four different races? Why would silver be harmful if the faeries like shiny objects?

I love all your races!

Because I like symmetry. :) I have four race groups (elemental, destroying, people, and animal), each of which have four races, each of which have four subraces (with the exception of one of the destroying races).

I don't remember my original reason, but I think it was because faeries would find it easier to use a silver weapon than an iron one.

Thanks!

I'm not sure. However, I'm trying to steer my races away from stereotypes as much as possible.
