As I read more and more of this wonderful site, I'm not sure I'll ever be a fantasy writer in the truest sense of the term. I really don't know how you all do it--suffice it to say, I'm much better at "real" fiction, hehe.

I'm going to try and do my best to learn though.

Anyway, as I've mentioned in my introduction, I'm writing a story that has some aspects of fantasy to it. There are some interesting creatures called Tpurrocs who are very demonish, ugly looking. Maybe similar to a Troll in some ways. They have rough, bumpy skin with claw-like hands, and are rather short (taller than an elf, but shorter than 5'). Oh, I also must mention that they have unpleasant guttural-sounding voices.
Special Features: They are able to morph into human beings and look completely normal, voice and all. They use it to their advantage to lure humans into their world.
I'm still trying to figure some things out. I would like the humans who are lured into the world to be able to turn into a Tpurroc themselves, but I would also need to come up with a different name for them, since the "real" Tpurrocs are of a different origin.
I also have a dragon named Nator, who was once good, but is now evil and in charge of all the Tpurrocs. He isn't your regular type of dragon as he is very cunning and can speak not only to his minions but also to people.
