Are the Fae like angels? I'm not sure I see why the pact affected them bringing weapons and technology in to the country.

So could they be conquered by the empire if the empire knew they were there? Or are they too powerful?

So you're saying that even if the Empire did conquer the country the Fae live in, the Fae would still be unconquered because they can practically disappear and get away to some place else.

So the Fae are kinda like the Irish Sidhe(fairies): lesser than humans, but powerful enough to be good friends and nasty enemies?

Hey, I have NO Irish heritage (that I can be positive of) and I am a huge fan of Irish folklore and legends, so I think an adaptation of more than just a name but of actual characteristics sounds awesome!

What do you mean by lesser than humans?

by "lesser" I mean less dominant as a race. I mean sure they're worshipped as gods. But for years, people laid out food for fairies, and left things in a certain way to appease them, but they weren't the dominant race. They concealed themselves and lived apart. That's kinda what I meant by lesser, not the primary race in the area.
