These don't fit with Lor-Amaran cobha, so the concept is up for grabs.

In the wooded worlds, giants always seem a bit out of place; crashing through trees, knocking things over, bellowing... It just isn't practical. So what if giants weren't so human proportioned?

These giants could stand a bit higher than the treetops, but would be only a bit thicker than trees as well. They can slip dangerously fast through the woods, so if you have to hide from one, your best bet is underground (I don't know what sort of temperament they have, I just got the image of being chased down by a tall, light-footed thing with sharp eyes and thought it was a fun idea). They would probably blend with the forest to some extent, and might not look very human at all. I imagine them having voices like the wind in the trees so they're not given away to lower folk, but that's up to the author's discretion.

What do you think? Want them in your world? :D

That's a neat idea. :D I don't think it will fit in any of my worlds, though.

I understand. All of my races are either animals or regular sized humanoids. I don't have room for something this alien around.

That's pretty much how it is for me, too.

I like your idea. I just have a few questions about the giants.

Wouldn't it be hard to see through the trees since the giants are taller than them? Do these types of giants have a name, or are they just giants?

That is totally up to the person who wants to use the concept. :D

This is a fascinating idea, and one I might use for a different race under a name other than "giants" someday. But I've gotten the concept for giants in my world somewhat fleshed out already, and this doesn't really fit with what I've already developed at all, unfortunately.

The first mental image I got was that of a fleet-footed, man eating Ent! lol

I like the concept though. It would be interesting to think through whether they actually eat humans/animal or if they are herbivores and hate humans for other reasons...
