Ok, here's a stickler. I have over and over again gotten the definition of cobha wrong, so whoever knows about it tell me if this is right.

Wizlings(working name)

About 1/4 to 1/3 of humans are wizlings. A wizling is somebody who has potential to become a wizard, or has a grasp of magic, because of a certain quality. If they apply themselves they can learn magic to it's full potential (within them) and become a wizard. The creator God chooses to give them this gift to praise him and aid them to do his will, but most of the time this gift is abused.

Wizards

A wizard is a wizling who has become learned in the way of magic, and has achieved many great signs and wonders. However, there are a precious few who use this huge knowledge of magic for the purposes God intends, thus, abusing a gift.

Dwarves

Dwarves cannot use magic. However, because of this, for some unexplained reason, they are almost completely immune to magic.

Seers

There are only 27 known Seers in the world. A seer is one who can see into the future when the creator God allows them to. They can pray and request a revealing vision, but they can never be guaranteed they will receive it.

Humans

I wouldn't categorize dwarves or humans in cobha, but the others look good. This looks sort of like a description of different races in your world? I'm a little bit confused. Cobha isn't generally used to describe living things that are different from Earth-ordinary in your world.

Maybe a Lauser should come along and Sort This Out.

Well, the descriptions is in another thread, this just states how they react to magic.

Assuming that "Menbie" is your world, this post works perfectly fine. In essence, you've described how the Cobha of your world works with the different people groups, some races, some individuals. I'm assuming here that wizlings and seers aren't races. I think it looks fine....even though I'm not a Lauser ;)

Yes, exactly Seer. Menbie is my world. :) The wizlings and seers may be anybody from any race, it's sort of like a gift that the creator allows them to have.

Looks good! I like the development of wizlings into wizards and the part of Seers. Are there always 27 Seers in the world and are any of them evil?

Griffin, I think there used to be many more Seers, but due to unexplained reasons(probably abuse of the gift), it's almost stopped being given. Yes, I think about half of them will end up being evil.

So do the evil ask for visions from a demon? It wouldn't make sense for them to ask God.

Well, they don't ask for visions. They just get them. It's up to them what they will do with their knowledge, but if they aren't careful then God might choose to take the gift away, or give them visions less frequently or something.

Okay, you said up at the top that they could pray for a vision, but I suppose most often God just gives them a vision.

Well, yeah. Just like in any other thing with prayer, you can request, but I think God has always decided beforehand.
