So my "world" (not really a world, just a section of our world that hasn't been discovered by normal humans) has this tradition that's kind of dying out, of singing a burial song when someone dies. Well, someone died, actually two someones, and a woman in the crowd watching the people being buried starts to sing the song, and everyone joins in, producing a haunting but beautiful chorus that leaves no one's eyes dry.
Should I post it for all of you to read? :D

Tentatively-I have the basic chords (guitar or piano) and it sounds really cool but it needs a key change somewhere in there so it's not E,E, G,G, E,E, D,D for every single line through the whole song. My friend (musical genius) is gonna help me out, eventually... She's too busy at the moment

Nessa- She's given up the veil, the vows she'd sworn, abandoned every effort to conform. Without a word to anyone she's gone her way alone, a dove escaping back into the storm.

Nolan- And though I don't understand why this happened, I know that I will when I look back someday, and see how you've brought beauty from ashes, and made me as gold purified through the flames.

Azriel- And who do you think you are, running round leaving scars, collecting your jar of hearts, and tearing love apart? You're gonna catch a cold from the ice inside your soul, so don't come back to me. Don't come back at all...

Ha! That's a laugh. I am impossible with music, except maybe singing. :P
And I realize now that it was completely pointless to post this thread... I was new. Er. NewER.
