Even small progress is progress. :D

What Mark said. :D We all have days where we don't get a lot done, whether it's our poor management or valid external circumstances, but live and learn! Budgeting time for writing is as much a learned art as writing is.

I got one scene in Peter's Angel edited. That's all I did, but it was a pretty long and pivotal scene, so that's good, I guess. :D Hoping to do two scenes today, which will finish off the chapter. What's up for you?

Y'know, at this rate we might as well sign up for the writing accountability thing and move to PM. :D

Oh, those are good ideas! I think I've written on library receipts and used them for bookmarks before. :-)

Thank you, yeah for me it's usually time management and laziness...I need to learn to do stuff before I "want to do it" because sometimes my schedule won't let me wait for that magical moment (and I've found that I can bring on the desire to do something simply by starting to do it, that's the hard part-starting).

Nice! I hope you're able to finish that chapter (I have a manuscript I really need to get back to soon).
Well, today I'm hoping for 500 or so words on my shortstory so I can reach the 1000 word goal in time that I can do some editing and stuff (and I'm hoping to remember to do the laundry today   )

I was wondering about that too, do you think we should?

o.O *gives Brendan some cupcakes to fortify him* Thou must fight and avoid this hideous fate at all costs!

Wolf, send me a PM when you've got progress to report. ;) (Or I will, if I should manage to get done first. I, too, often have to force myself to start now rather than waiting for inspiration.)

Besides the Weekly challenge goals, my non-novel goals for world-building this week are as such:

Short introduction to the differing cultures (around 150 words)
Names/naming article in full (might end up as 500 words)
Finish list of phonetics in the language I'm making.

I am doing Script Frenzy now, and am writing the Umbrella Beach screenplay Mark and I are doing. :) Right now I'm working on the development, worldbuilding, synopsis, that sort of thing. :)

Yes it is, thank you for being inspiring. ;)
I may as well say what I'm working on, too, I've started fractalling for the first time, but I have a lot of help from Ira Mordecai's fractalling group which is helping a lot. :D

I finished a fractal! *Flops down on couch* That was the fastest I have ever done a fractal, in two weeks. It's 16 pages and over 5,000 words long.

*Grins* Thanks!

(I think I meant to post this on the Novel Goals thread... I shouldn't post when I'm tired. :P Oh well. It's kind a non-novel goal too. *Posts it there also for the people who wanted updates on that thread*)

I got to "fade out", but am only at ninety pages.... so today I need to either go back and write ten more pages in the middle, or write ten pages of something else...

You are soooo close, Gracie! Don't give up now! You could try extending a scene, reading over what you have to see if you can add more... just write! :D
