In the east and west, living beings other than humans exist, but are rare.

Dwarves:

Dwarves live mostly scattered around in cities. They are great blacksmiths, but are looked down upon by humans.

Talking beasts:

They aren’t real, but there are many myths about taking animals that once roamed wild.

Elves:

These are simply un-fallen humans. They have long been extinct. They became the human race after the fall.

Sapramuh:

These are large cats, very similar to jaguars. They have human-like eyes, and are generally considered to make great pets to country-folk as they are nice around friendly humans as they can sense if the human is happy or mad very easily. It is said of them that they can do anything but speak, and can somewhat communicate with their masters by facial expressions, noises, and body motion.

Merashath:

This is a specific person, who was once an elf. He was the cause of the fall, and was thus cursed to live forever on earth until the end of time, and live without hands or even feet good for gripping. He is mostly black, with bat-like wings with no hands, and clumsy talons for feet. He is all evil, and lives flying from city to city striking fear in the hearts of citizens. There are legends in both the east and west of a dark shadow that comes and kills people left alone in the open.

I love the idea of the Sapramuh. I've always thought it would be fun to have a giant cat as a pet!

So how did Merashath get wings/the ability to fly, if he was an elf? Was that part of his curse? By the way, I can see why you changed your forum name. ;)

Nice job on the last two, but the first few need some more descriptive paragraphs.

Ooh! I really like the Sapramuh! It would be funny to walk into a pet store and see one of them for sale :D Though I would have to admit, I would probably buy it :)

Yes, I know. I'm working on developing countries right now, and after that I'll do history. Creatures are pretty low on the list. (I may end up doing them before history, as history is/maybe affected by them.)

Thanks, Taiven! :D
