The walls are lined from floor to ceiling in shelves that are full of old books, some more dusty than others. There is a small table in the center of the room, a globe in the corner, and a window seat.

A stealthy figure opens the door to the library and enters, taking a quick look about to check she isn't being followed. Closing the door carefully, she begins to open drawers and rummage through them, muttering 'it has to be here somewhere!'. Brushing long strands of blonde hair away from her face, she moves over to the bookcase and begins to pull out books, flicking through them quickly and pushing them onto the table behind her. Dust circles the air around her, more joining the dancing fray as she ripples through pages and pages, moving onto the second bookcase. Suddenly she mutters a soft 'found you!' and opening the piece of paper begins to read:

I am the gleam of an indigo night,
Deepest and proudest of colors of light,
Kings clamber for me, my hue is their wish,
Though my dye is created from humble shellfish.

She stares at it for some time, a somewhat puzzled expression on her face, before stuffing the paper into the neat pocket of her red dress.

A few moment later the door opens and just as she is leaving the room -
"Vivienne! I was hoping to catch you before you left -" But she is already gone, calling "a little busy, Professor', behind her.

I wonder what you were up to in here, the Professor enters the room, glancing around; but there isn't a book, or a drawer out of place. Except for the whiff of that familiar perfume, there was no sign of Miss Scarlett having been in the room at all.

Reverend Green entered through the gaping library door and glanced around, but aside from a faint odor nothing seemed out of place. Visibly reassured, the elderly man strode straight for the window seat and lifted a book (noticeably free of dust) that rested against the window.

Green flipped to near the back of the book and paused a moment to readjust his spectacles. Once prepared, his finger scanned along with his eyes until they both found what he was looking for. "Aha..."

Starlight, firelight: so strange yet so dear,
This color chases shadows from all things you fear,
Think not white for Purity; Cowardice is the knight,
If you're stuck, think of cheeriness, weeds, or sunlight.

The Reverend murmured inaudibly for a moment and then, seeming to come to a conclusion, returned the book to its former position.

On his way out, the Reverend briefly scanned the section of divinities. He had a question that needed looking into by church next Sunday, but it could wait until later this week.
