The lighting is low over the billiard table in the center of the room. Several cues hang on the wall and a trophy of an African Buffalo stares down from above them. |

Squinting as your eyes begin to get used to the dim lights, you approach the table. There are several pieces of paper littered on the surface, and you reach for the one closest to you; it is creased and somewhat smudged with ink, but taking a candle from the nearby mantlepiece, you are able to read it. |
