The rules are simple; I will write a small paragraph about something, but I will spoiler all of it but the last little segment. You are not allowed to click on the spoiler, you have to follow on the 'story' from the last little segment that you can see. You spoiler all but the last segment of your paragraph and the next person carries on the 'story' from the segment that they can see of your post. You can write more than one paragraph, just let at least two people write between the last one you wrote before you write another one.

Use your imagination and be creative! Just do not click on any of the spoilers at all. We shall wait, and then I will go through and put the story together, and we'll see what we have created.

It was a cold, dark night as Candice hurried down the path towards the garden gate, wrapping her dark shawl around her shoulders, keeping the nipping, frosty fingers at bay. She could still hear the men in the house arguing over whether they should kill her, or keep her alive; if it hadn't been for William creeping in through the window and setting her free from the rope that bound her, she dreaded to think what her fate would have been. She turned, and waited for her young brother to catch up, and then they crept through the gate, and disappeared into the forest together.

[Ooooh! This looks like fun!!! ^_^ ]

"Look," one of them pointed. "There's something different about the sky." The little girl sat down and pouted. "I'm so tired," she said. The tall boy turned and squinted towards the horizon. "No. It's not the sky." "What is it, then? "It's a dragon."

Slowly they walked nearer and nearer, the dragon's tale shook, they could see his power. Slowly the dragon's body rose from the ground, showing its massive body, its eyes glowed. suddenly a man stepped out from the shadows, "I am the keeper" he said.

A shaft of light from the moon as it sailed through the tumbled, cloudy night sky lit up a twinkle in the keeper's eye. He bowed low twice. The dragon clapped its wings in applause – though applause for what, they could not decide.

"I hate clowns." Jack deadpanned. "I don't think there's anyone here that does like them." She replied. "Fear not, little ones. You will be feed most fully." Keeper said. They heard a rumble from the dark, and anachronistic screams.

They covered their ears at the terrible sound, suddenly flames shot everywhere, quickly they ducked down to avoid being burned. They were getting into more than they thought!

"Run! Don't wait for me!" he cried, shoving her away as the beast leaped towards them out of the shadows. She fell against their faithful old scaled companion. The dragon scooped her up and carried her beyond the shadows of the old ruin.
"Jaukthan, jump!" she screamed above the rushing roar of the dragon's wings, "You have to jump!

I slid closer to the egde of the dragon's body, feet dangling over the edge - and then jumped. Air, nothing but thin air wooshed by me as a plummeted towards the earth. And then suddenly something solid was under me again. I didn't see what broke my fall before I lapsed into unconsciousness.

When I woke, two luminous eyes were watching me from inches away. I yelped and hit my head hard on the cold stone ceiling.

Pain filled my head and made it hard to see. What was happening? What was I supposed to do? Why was I here? I got up and looked around at the wide, pillared room, speckled with the distant sparkle of lamps. A girl was standing a little ways away, staring at me intently.

Hannah was scared, she didn't know what to do! This whole day had gone wrong, all they had wanted to do was explore. Finally she got so mad she stomped up to the dragon and said, "You dragon! You beast! You... you... fire breathing monster!

He shook his fist at the dragon, stamping on the floor at the same time with his foot. The dragon merely snorted, looking up to the heavens as if wondering how he had been left with such a child. He reached out with one quick movement, and firmly planted the said child on his back, before taking off into the sky.

So I lay there on his back, bleeding and unconscious. Black skies matched the black deeds done on that day. They swirled about me and masked my waking moments with such similarity to the dark visions of my trauma induced slumber that I could hardly tell which was real and which was the dream. The first light I saw was the light of the sun coming up over the clouds which lay far below.

The ground sped toward me as I let out a scream. Suddenly, I was on the ground again! I felt so dizzy that I just fell over!

Once the fall ended, I lay on the ground mentally working from the top of my head to the bottom of my feet. Head still attached to shoulders. Neck a little sore, but liveable. Arms askew, but seem to be intact. Torso and back seem to be in working order. Legs. Right leg is sore. Could be because I landed on it. Left leg seems fine. Keeping my weight mostly on the left leg, I gingerly worked my way into a standing position.

I hope I am not too late?

I walked slowly forward to the door. Since it was no more than an arched opening in the stone I drew my knife and rapped the pommel on the inside of the arch. Something bent and scuttling moved at the far end of the passage, where the light did not reach. But the gentle voice of a young woman invited me to come inside. I limped through the doorway, and the thing at the end of the hall scurried back around the corner to the left.

I worked my way down the hall, leaning against the wall on the right. As I neared the corner I smelled a smell like warm flesh, but was also a fresh, cinnamon smell. When I reached the corner I began to sense a thing waiting for me, and I had hardly sensed this when a thing appeared before me and I felt a hand strike above the sheath of my knife, and I heard a startled and disappointed sound. Hands were immediately on my throat, and if I had not happily had my knife already in my hand, my throat would have been crushed.

I wiped the blood from my feet at the door (which was difficult for my right leg), and stepped into the room. That which had attacked me was tall, not what I had seen scuttling in the dark when I was at the door. I saw the scuttler now at the far end of the room, which was lighted faintly by a lamp on a large stone. On a seat, which seemed to be the only furniture of the rough room, sat a young woman, no doubt she who had invited me in. The scuttler was next to this chair, and seemed larger in the light where its shadow added to its apparent size. It hurried to the side out of the light. There was a pause.

"I was told to come here by the dragon." I said.

At first I saw nothing wrong, and wondered why the woman did not rise to meet me. She seemed to be sitting naturally. She did not speak. The light flickered in a slight gust that had wandered in. Then I saw that her ankles were bound to the legs of the chair. I went forward, and knelt painfully to cut off the knots. I was nervously aware of the scuttler taking an intent interest in this. When she was freed the woman rose and stepped to the wall.

The woman said, "It could not make me open the door."
"It? The murderer in the hall?"
"A murderer yes."

She ran her finger in a pattern on the wall, as though she were following a geometric diagram. Then she thrust the wall with her hand, and a part of it swung back, grinding across the floor. Bright sunlight came from the room beyond, and in that light I saw the scuttler quite close to me. It was a dragon, shrunken and charred to a cluster of animated shreds of dragonhood. I shifted involuntarily and my weight went painfully on my leg. But I immediately bent forward in respect.

The woman said again, "Come inside, and be welcome." in precisely the same tone as she had used the first time.
I blinked for a moment, then limped through the alchemic door into that brilliant room, hearing the rustle of the shrunken dragon following.

It is very long, *is embarrassed * but not much happens, it is mostly description.

Actually, should I repost just the first paragraph?

Yes, here is the first paragraph, and if mine is the last entry the story fuser can pick the long or short version of the entry. Sorry for the mess people!

Don't be embarrassed! That's great!

I quickly brought my hand up to my eyes the room was so bright, when I uncovered them, I saw the most amazing thing!
