Rose petals drift thickly through the air. One falls on your hand and you look down to see that it is in the shape of the number 4. The petals' lazy motions intensify into a whirlwind until you can hardly see the room. Wind shrieks through your ears before subsiding into an eerie quiet, the festive petals again floating gently. You see in front of you a lady in a golden gown riding a pure white dragon. She alights from the dragon, rubbing it behind the ear. The proud creature touches her hair with its nose, its breath tousling it. "My fellow Holy Worlders, dragon riders," the woman speaks, her voice too loud in the hushed hall. "Welcome, welcome to the festivities! This day marks a very special day for all of us. For on this day, four years ago, our beloved forum began. We have gathered together today to celebrate this anniversary. "Please, mingle with your friends and enjoy our two days of celebration. To your right, you will find a writing contest. To your left, an art contest. Many more activities abound within the hall, and the dragon races are just outside. We are so glad to host you on this momentous occasion!" The woman waves her hand, and the rose petals settle on the floor, with the exception of a small amount still in the air. As they settle, you see tables stretching around the edges of the room, and one large table in the middle, laden with food. A door at the far end of the hall lets in the sound of cheering. You smile and go to join the festivities. |

A dark-haired young woman dressed in a long flowing blue gown and a green crown and riding a fiery blue dragon enters. She grins and waves. Greetings, Holyworlders! Just stopping by to say my hellos and let it be known I intend to actually enjoy Holy Worlds' birthday this time.  (Anybody else remember what happened today a year ago?) Have a jolly good time, and I'll see ya'll around!  *Laughs and flies away*

A short young lady with rather unruly ginger hair and wearing a shimmering green dress enters the room, perched atop a large, autumn-and-fire-colored dragon. She smiles a little, looking at the others in the room, and raises her hand in a slight wave. The dragon kneels and then lies down, carefully curling his tail close to his body to avoid tripping anyone. The dragon draws in a deep breath, and then expels light glimmering in all colors of the rainbow from his jaws. A few moments later, the light spells out: Happy Birthday, Holy Worlds The young lady dismounts and sits on the floor, leaning against the dragon's shoulder and shyly watching the goings-on. |

A tall, dark-haired young man looks around the room and frowns. "The scale of the celebration seems somewhat ... reduced ... from previous years," he says. "Ah, well." He waves a hand, and after a muffled explosion a thick haze of twinkling glitter hangs in the air beneath the rafters. And with a flourish of trumpets, a team of six siver horses enters the room, pulling a silver fountain spouting golden light, which the attendant places off to one side of the room. |
