Around the Forums, we speak a lot of 'linking' posts or topics or threads or sections. Thus, we concluded, for your benefit, it may be nice to have specific instructions on how to obtain links to all the following places. All 'links' to the places described are located in the URL address bar in your internet browser. We are simply giving you a list of how to get the correct link to appear in that address bar. It is up to you to copy and paste that link to wherever you happen to need it or use it. The following is a list of steps or instructions how to link to what areas:
To the Forum at Large: This is incredibly simple for most of you, since you somehow all figured out how to get on here in the first place.

The link is simply:
http://holyworlds.org/forum/index.php. The easiest way to return to the Forum at large after visiting a post is simply to click "Board Index," which is located right under the link you click to log out of your account on here.
One of the Five Sections (Citadel, Scholar's Hall, Tower Records, Courtyard, Vault): Each one of these headings has a link embedded in them. If you click on the name of the section, it will take you to a page that shows all the active topics in that particular section as well as only the designated Forums classified under that section. This link is helpful if you would like to see the most active topics in a particular section or if you would like to view only the Forums that make up that section. Here is an example, the link to the Tower Records section:
http://holyworlds.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=7A Specific Forum (Creatures, Culture, Language, 'Magic,' Theology, History, Reviews, etc. - just naming a few here): Most of you are probably already aware of this link. All you need to do is click on the title of a specific Forum that you want to access and it will show you all posts that are categorized in there. Here is an example, the link to the Language forum:
http://holyworlds.org/forum/viewforum.php?f=18A Specific Thread (The Blue Sword, Redwall Anyone?, etc.): Most of you already do this naturally as well. When you click on a thread, all the posts that compose that thread display on your screen. Here is an example, a link to The Blue Sword thread:
http://holyworlds.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=820A Link to an Individual's Post: This is probably the most likely unknown link to forum members. When you are reading a post of someone's, look at the top of the post (not the thread) on your right and there will be a tiny white sheet of paper next to the word 'post' and the date and time it was posted. You need to click on that little white sheet and the individual post's link will appear in your URL bar. Here is an example, Celestria's reply to the Return of the Green-named People thread:
http://holyworlds.org/forum/viewtopic.p ... 575#p15575We also left the urls visible to you all so that you can see the slight differences between each link. The links will always have the same character symbols but different numbers with each corresponding example and type of link.
