Uhh, question. Does anyone know when the Fantasy chat is going to be back online? I know that there are still lots of bugs since the merge, and that sci-fi has to be fixed still (At least, last time I looked), but I was wondering if anyone could give me a ballpark estimate? |

Sci-fi chat is working, actually. If you go on & it's more of a white, default style (not the cool steampunk background), you have to go to your User Control Panel. From there you should see something called 'Board preferences'. Click that, then go to the drop-down "board style" menu. Select 'CA Orbital', then 'submit' it at the bottom of the page. It might take a minute, but it will go back to the customized SF style. Chat doesn't work with the default style.

Oh, I know. I did change Sci-fi's background back to what it used to be and can access chat there, but I'm just used to seeing and using Fantasy chat. I know that they are all linked/connected, and sci-fi is the only place that has a working chat, but I thought that all three forums would have a working, linked chat, for example, I could be on Fantasy chat talking to someone who is in Sci-fi chat, but all chat posts would show up simultaneously on all three forums' chat rooms. That's what I thought was going to happen. Was I wrong? *Is confused* |

At this point, all I know is that Andrew is very busy. xD But he's working on it as much as he can. The connected chats were part of the plan too, as far as I know. (not that I know that much  )

They are somewhat connected already. I've been online and seen others come online and post that no one is there and leave because they were on Fantasy chat. I've tried it myself and, if you post in Fantasy, you can see it in sci-fi, but you can't see any of it from fantasy. This isn't practical information for chatters, it's just what I know about the situation. |

Practical information: the chat room was not set up by me and I don't know its technical workings. Right now, the plan is to...sit tight XD I promise, more details coming soon  For those of y'all who are out using them every day, though...does the HF chat work? Or is sci-fi the only working chatroom? Thanks! Andrew |
