I know I started a topic on this before, so I would have mentioned this there except it was archived. Anyway... The problem has been persisting. I get email notifications for each topic I post in (until I click unsubscribe)--except that sometimes I don't. A few days ago I randomly went to my subforum and saw that someone had posted in there several days before and I hadn't been notified, for example. Other times I've been watching a thread closely, then stop getting notifications for it and finally go to check on it to see that I've missed a lot of discussion and don't even feel like trying to catch up. 'Tis very disappointing when that happens. I hope this can be fixed sometime. *knows the tech people are busy*

I have had that problem, too. Most of the time, I get them, but sometimes I don't. |

Let me clarify here. Are you guys not receiving emails for each post posted on the topic? Or are you not receiving emails for when the topic when someone posts on it? Here's why I ask. Subscribe is not set up so that you receive an individual email for each person that posts a single post on your topic. If a person posts a post on your topic, the email will be sent out. But, each post posted by the same or different people after that initial post before you visit the thread and read it will NOT get a separate email. From what you guys are saying, I can't tell what exactly isn't or isn't getting done. |

I've noticed that sometimes I seem to get unsubscribed from threads (I hope not forums) somehow. This is most noticeable with the "Updates and Announcements - MUST READ" thread, which I've repeatedly subscribed to, and is updated several times a week, but I rarely get notifications from. |

Yeah, I'm finding that in my case at least, I'm also not getting forum notifications. It looks like I need to go and keep an eye on my forums or risk missing out on entire threads, and posts on old ones. |

It would appear this is happening across all three forums as well, not just on HWFF. I don't know if it helps find the problem knowing that. |

This is still happening on occasion. Fairly frequently, in fact, with the "Updates and Announcements---Must Read" thread on each forum. Perhaps it has something to do with that being a "global announcement" thread that's effectively in every forum? |
