With Daylight Savings Time (DST) now in effect, here's a quick setting adjustment you'll need to make so that the forum times match the time in your timezone. Go the the UCP and click "Board preferences" on the sidebar. Find the setting towards the bottom that says "Summer time/DST is in effect" and change that to "yes". There you go; now the forum time and your timezone are in agreement. :D

Thanks, Eve. :) Two weeks off before ours go back, but I might as well change it anyway. :D

Ohh, I didn't know that different countries switched over at different times. Good to know. Thanks! :D

Thanks for posting that, Eve. :D I'd have never found it on my own.

You're welcome, Milly. It took me quite a while last year to figure out why the forum times were messed up for me. :P

I don't have to do it at all. :D Saskatchewan doesn't do daylight savings time. It makes it easy for figuring out how to change the forum times. But thank you for the tutorial, Eve. :D

You're lucky, Az. DST is mostly confusing (at least to me). :P

Yeah, Jay used to always throw me off because Ireland’s time changes are different than ours as well.

Aaaah! I never even thought of DST in connection with timezones! (How did I survive this long without noticing? ) That's why it's CDT instead of CST, then, right? We're literally in a different time zone now. We're GCT -7 instead of GCT -6... and I thought I had just sorted this out...

Thank you for reminding us, Evening. :D I wouldn't have remembered until I happened to notice the times being off.

Mine's correct right now (but only because I was lazy last year and didn't set it back to EST).

Actually, mine is correct too.... but that is because I'm now on EST when I am normally on CST.

There's another setting under the DST one where you can change your timezone, but I guess it doesn't matter as long as the times are showing up correctly.
