Usergroups
The term 'Usergroups' is used to define set groups of individuals that are united within a set of purposes and responsibilities. Individuals are placed within the Registered Users group as soon as they are activated and all other group levels are awarded on a promotion basis. Individuals, however, should not expect to be promoted, as promotions are only awarded on a need basis. When a specific team needs a spot filled, we will seek out a qualified individual to fill it at that time.
Usergroups may be viewed from two locations. If one scrolls to the very bottom of the Forum Index, a list of the different ranks of the forums separated by color will appear. Any colored link may be clicked on to discover the individuals that comprise the said group. One may also enter the UCP section and click on Usergroups on the left hand side. The only group currently available to volunteers is the Editor group.
All other groups are, as previously stated, awarded by promotion and may not be applied to. If one is a member of multiple groups, it is also an option to change which group is default from here. Default groups defines what color and rank you wish to appear on the forums as. If you are only a member of a single group, that will remain your default group without change.
The one position that is not subject to change among the Usergroups is the group leaders. The group leaders will be chosen from the Council and will remain Council Members.
Usergroups on these forums may get a little complicated, as we do have a number of different levels all with their own list of responsibilities. The general gist and qualities we look for in individuals possibly deserving of a promotion regarding the different leadership groups, including Editors, Foundational Members, Honor Roll Members, Moderators, and Marcher Lords, can be found on the thread entitled Leadership Roles.
Administrators
Starting at the top of the food chain is the Administrators. The Administrator group is comprised of a very specific person, not persons. Basically, we only have one Administrator and that is Jay (Sir Emeth Mimetes). The Administrator group basically points to who is the ultimate leader of the forums, the founder himself. The group houses him alone and is distinguished by him alone.
The Council
Standing with him, however, is the Council: the group clothed in white. This is a set group of individuals who have equal power to that of the Administrator and are equal in the ability to decide and solve all issues on the forums. They are the ultimate go-to, along with Jay, and serve as his right-hands and constant advisers. Unlike the rest of the groups on the forums, the Council and the Administrator will remain the same across the board and are the ultimate authorities for all of Holy Worlds and all of its components, not just specific forums themselves.
Marcher Lords
Below the Council we have the Marcher Lords. The Marcher Lords are the head authorities for Holy Worlds Fantasy Division. They protect the forum as well as render a number of the policies and procedures. When it comes to the Fantasy division specifically, they are said to have the final say. Their tasks vary from running projects, creating policies, answering inquiries, and overseeing the work of the other Usergroups. Seer (Jordan Miller) serves as their group leader.
Moderators
Next in line is the Moderators. Unlike any other group on the forums, they are in the sense the work force of the forums. Forums are in their care and they are the main disciplinarians of the forums. They thrive in keeping the forums neat and presentable and enforcing the policies set by the Marcher Lords and up. I (Hannah Marie) serve as their group leader.
Honor Roll Members
Following close behind are the Honor Roll Members. Honor Roll Members are set apart from the other groups in their purpose. They do not enforce rules or set policies or even work to keep things neat and clean as their primary task. People relations best describe their position on the forums and they take it very seriously. Their focus remains upon being there for all the users of the forums, taking the time to make sure all feel welcome, building up the atmosphere on the forums, and dedicating their time to serving as an example for all to see. Airianna Valenshia (Kaitlyn) serves as their group leader.
Foundational Members
Foundational Members represent honored members of our forums that played a significant role in the forums at one time or another. Some of these individuals helped create the forums, some served among the higher ranks for a period of time and some served as people relations to the best of their abilities while active. Almost all members of this group share one thing in common: they have been forced to reduce their activity on the forums or forced to resign their positions among the leadership either due to time restraints, personal reasons, or simply needing to step away for the time being to accomplish what they must in their own lives. We wish to see that they remain honored even with their need to step back so they are placed in this group as recognition. Seeing as Foundational Members are an extension of Honor Roll Members, Airianna Valenshia (Kaitlyn) serves as their group leader.
Editors
Editors make up the last of our colored associates. While their task seems simple, it is a huge help to the Moderators of the forums. Editors serve as the Moderators' right hands, warning Moderators of breaches of conduct within their sections and editing posts to be presentable and readable as they go through the forums. Duchess Daisy (Carissa) serves as their group leader.
Registered Users
The last usergroup but without a doubt the most important are our Registered Users. They are the people that make these forums possible and support the leadership in every way possible. Posting all about and gladly stirring up comments and thoughts among all members defines how they bless these forums. No one individual leads this group but instead they operate on their own and in their own way within our guidelines.
For all other questions regarding Usergroups, you may reply to this thread or contact the designated group leader for the specific Usergroup for more information.
