With a nod of her head, the dark haired hostess signals to the orchestra conductor that the time for dancing has come. With a repetitive tap, the conductor catches the attention of those under his charge. With a nod and a smile he raises his arms with great excitement and begins the rhythmic dance of his hands through the air. Music swells and conversation dies down, everyone eagerly catching the sound of the instruments and they line up, facing their partners….. Come, help me capture the essence of our time here at the ball. The music has started, the floor is set, everyone is dressed in their finest-- how would you continue our narrative here at the ball? |

The music is a concoction of glittering passages, sweet flights of tenor instrumentation, and boisterously thundering crescendos. All who dance are not all gainly or graceful, but all are as joyful as the music and as mischievous as the eccentric dots gamboling about in various corners of the hall. |

*one non-existent finger is pointing at the white bunny, splitting it into hundreds of bunnies with every color of the white bunny spectrum * *another finger is pointing at gentlesnake, and an osmium bow tie appears and drops his head to the floor * *fingers pointing at the orchestra makes them get lost in all the glittering passages, all their tenor instrumentation gets into a dogfight, and their crescendos start boistering the chairs and tables *
