With a repetitive tap, the conductor catches the attention of those under his charge. With a nod and a smile he raises his arms with great excitement and begins the rhythmic dance of his hands through the air. Music swells and conversation dies down, everyone eagerly catching the sound of the instruments and they line up, facing their partners…..
