A squad of liveried servants stagger in under the weight of an immense cake (rumored to be made from a recipe contributed by a barbarian from near the Enchanted Forest).

I haz a special jar of glitter all saved up for this! *starts frantically digging through closet to find it, tossing out behind me into the thread things like other buckets of plain-colored glitter, fireworks, half-made glitter fireworks, and cookies*

/kingjon produces a self-building stage and activates it
A gate opens in the middle of the stage and a chamber orchestra troops through. The leader activates a force bubble around the stage to prevent any interference from stray glitter (or anything stronger), and they sit down and begin to play.

I'm sure there's a tray of cupcakes around here somewhere ... but maybe we'll have to wait for the inestimable Miss Hansen to arrive and reveal them.

*blows up room*

*fires off twelve gun salute*

*softly breathes into hands, then opens hands, causing soft swirly glitter to whirl around*

*sets off a series of fireworks that sparkle and thunder in such a dazzling array that everyone is glad Wolf blew the room up*

I think this is the first year we've had an orchestra.

Ah-ha! *holds up jar of glitter triumphantly* My timey-wimey glitter! **loads it into glitter sprinkler and turns it on*

I vote that the orchestra play only classical favorites.

*being the wizardly type, jumps on to stage and waves staff, causing musicians to begin the rousing epic of Beethoven's 5th Symphony*

It's a chamber orchestra, way too small for even a Mozart symphony, let alone Beethoven. (Apparently whoever hired them put the bulk of his funds into the protective force bubble, knowing HW parties' tendency toward explosions and glitter, rather than a large ensemble.)

What's Ultimate Frisbee? I keep hearing people talking about it and really don't have a clue what it is. XD

It's where you have two teams, two endzones, one frisbee, and you try to get the frisbee to the other end of the field and have one of your team members catch it in the endzone without having anyone run when they have the frisbee, and as little contact with other players as possible.

Wait it's like seriously a real sport?

Huh. Very interesting. Definitely not my thing RL - never been good at throwing frisbees or running. xD But... virtually... **grabs another pizza to use as a frisbee*

I finally made it for a Holy Worlds birthday party! And I brought my special brownies, very dark and fudgy chocolate (I know there's a beautiful cake, these are more for finger food). The recipe is attached!

It was invented to be "the anti-competitive-sport," self-refereed and as non-contact as a sport like that can get, but as it grew in popularity it's become just another sport .
