I am posting this early because of different timezones, but you may not touch it until you have had a regular Wednesday night's sleep. ;)

The name of the game is teamwork. Well, actually no, it's the Realms Beyond Scavenger Hunt, but you know what I mean. Work together with your teammates to find the answers to the questions.

Even if you are able to edit posts, please post when you have a question answered, that way a better eye can be kept on things with the timestamps.

The contest ends at 12 midnight PDT on September twenty-first.

Without further ado..the questions!

Amerouk: What was the name of King Dakai's wife?

Lady Lyssia of Edaless from the Northern Kingdoms ~Airianna

Tira: What is "Metal Helix?"

It is very interesting. A project commissioned during Preoceia by Maran Tanyoul. ~Tsahraf

Eshteka: What are the Aru Tonga?

In essence, a Great Blacksnake. The Aru Tonga are 100 feet long, and five to six feet thick. They are hundreds of years old, as it takes them at least 50 years to mature into adulthood. They live in the tunnels and caverns they carved out of the rock face, and bring forth many young. ~Airianna

Ska'Lah'Seh: Which of these Ska'Lah'Seh nations are the most civilized?
  A. Eastern Alliance
  B. Northern Empire

Northern Empire. ~Renna the Gray

Allare: What is the right way a person could acquire the skill of magic?

To inherit it, it can not be learned. ~Tsahraf

Elleys: Who was the last ruler of Yen after the end of the Fourth Age?

Dahila, first female ruler. ~Azlyn

Vadra: Who went in search of freedom only to bind themselves to darker masters?

The Mae. ~kingjon

Ainaan: Lyrianur's sword when he drew the line for the final battle in Dur Greden

Whatever this question means, it's referring to this thread ... is "Grethwan" what you're looking for? ~kingjon

Rantis: What is the coloring of a dark morph juvenile Aquila?

They are all black with white primary feathers. The tail is white with a smudgy tail tip which turns all white in adulthood. ~Roager

Zoriah: What year did the elves' kingdom fall?

Year 18. ~Renna the Gray

Red World: What trophy is usually awarded to the killer of a dragon? In what important way was this violated in history?

The trophy is a skull, and this was violated when the dragon-hunters cooperated to kill the yellow-scaled dragon, and Caeron only demanded the dragon's teeth. ~kingjon

Lor-Amar: What is the class grouping for creatures that bear traits of multiple creatures?

Biformata. ~Roager

Eartea: Multiple choice: from which race, and in which hemisphere, did the Huri arise?
 a. Dwarves, the Soutwyth.
  b. Elves, the Norwyth.
  c. Men, the Soutwyth.

Men, the Soutwyth. ~Tsahraf

Saemyr: What is tromaich?

It's part of Naylcian's mourning process, the third stage, to be exact. The final stage, tromaich, begins the day after airtnea and lasts for a year. The music is left entirely to the flutes and harps, which only play from dawn to midday and gain a sighing quality. Tromaich, which is restricted to the immediate family, is known as light or silent mourning because speech is minimal, wailing nonexistent, and mentioning the deceased is forbidden. During this time, the house is purged of all the deceased’s belonging except his valuables and items he cherished. Dark purples, greens, and blues are worn during tromaich, signifying the mourners’ bruised hearts.
~Airianna

Ccwiicc: Where do the representatives meet (in the colonies)?

The Hall of Representatives in Dun Del. ~Tsahraf

Pinecone 1

Pinecone 2

Cranberry

~All found by Kingjon

As I will not be here until later this evening, and want to be able to contribute, here I am with a couple I know the answers to.

Q: Amerouk: What was the name of King Dakai's wife?

A: Lady Lyssia of Edaless from the Northern Kingdoms

Q:Eshteka: What are the Aru Tonga?

A: In essence, a Great Blacksnake. The Aru Tonga are 100 feet long, and five to six feet thick. They are hundreds of years old, as it takes them at least 50 years to mature into adulthood. They live in the tunnels and caverns they carved out of the rock face, and bring forth many young.

Q: Saemyr: What is tromaich?

GO TEAM!!!!!!!! I'll be back later. :D

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

A bit slow posting this; I was distracted by merpeople.

Five down, ten to go!

I have yet to discover much myself, but I have found that in looking for the Red World question that it is not in the Dragonic Nature or The Dragon's Strike Back threads. (Process of elimination, you see. ;) )

Heh. Aquila were previously labeled as the Skatros and their information can be found in the Skatros thread. Make sure to read all the posts in the threads in case of any changes!

Eleutheria has informed me that you guys think you are done.

I'm going to leave this open until I get a confirmation from the majority of team members that they think the answers are correct. If someone would like to edit them into the original post, that would be great.

Also, from what I can see, you still have the pinecones and cranberry to find. ;)

And the other pinecone is here.

(That was too easy for people who are subscribed to most of the Realms Beyond subforums ...)

For those questions where I have some knowledge, I believe they're either correct or as close as we're going to get :)

So does that mean we're done? I feel bad for not contributing.

With the scavenger hunt, yes ... but the party will be going on all day (and tomorrow too, I think), so you can sign the "Make Your Mark" thread and otherwise contribute to the party and the Party Room as a whole (look in last year's Party Room for ideas ...

I'm still waiting for the majority of the team members to say they're satisfied with the answers, so no, you're not entirely done. :)

And don't feel bad, unless you want to join me in the feeling bad party. I feel bad this wasn't as hard/didn't take as long as I expected.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)
