I am posting this early because of different timezones, but you may not touch it until you have had a regular Wednesday night's sleep. ;)

The name of the game is teamwork. Well, actually no, it's the Realms Beyond Scavenger Hunt, but you know what I mean. Work together with your teammates to find the answers to the questions.

Even if you are able to edit posts, please post when you have a question answered, that way a better eye can be kept on things with the timestamps.

The contest ends at 12 midnight PDT on September twenty-first

Without further ado, your questions:

DONE! Amerouk: What is the casual greeting between two female friends?
Answer: Upon greeting a close friend, the girls would simply take both of each other’s hands and clasp them together, holding for as long as the situation requires. If it is two close friends, they might pull each other into a hug after.

DONE! Tira: Who were the original holders of the Elder Blood, Scritoria?
Answer: Shenzahri (Blood Scribes) demons were the original wielders of the Scritoria.

DONE! Eshteka: Name the five continents of Eshteka.
Answer: The five continents are: Asroko, Mulhaki, Isia, Israli, and Frilaar.

DONE! Ska'Lah'Seh: Why did Yah (God) create the Dra'Gon?
Answer: To protect each of the Four Great Trees Yah created the Dra'Gon (Great Beasts) massive and powerful winged creatures.

DONE! Allare: What are Meriak and Verian feathers good for?

? Elleys: Which of the border kingdoms is not featured in the novel Prince of Yen?
Answer: Rivanek
DONE! Vadra: What being found in Vadra is securely entwined with it's own kind, yet moves, as it pleases?

DONE! Ainaan: What is the name of the Bard's collections of song?
Answer: Triaddian.

DONE! Rantis: What is the future congregation of 'run' in Skrak?
Answer: Pioduch.

DONE! Zoriah: What is the name of a game in Zoriah played by teenagers with bows and arrows?
Answer: My^o^pa.

Done? Red World: Which Southern city was reduced to stone rubble by gang violence?
Answer: Meldüs

I'm the first one on, of course! * bounces around everywhere and sets traps of glitter and honey for all the later comers * Heeeehehehehe.....

* picks up a green ring, then a yellow one and disappears *

*picks up a green ring, and a yellow one as well, and disappears after Juliet*

Do we have to post the answers to the questions in order? Or can we answer whatever we choose to?

---

If we can answer whichever then...I have found the answer to the last question:

The real name of Ccwiicc is "oNiirwiccrwuneggccwiicc" and it's pronounced like "quick." :)

---

*joins Juliet on the floor*
*doesn't know how to draw*
*decides to just watch Juliet instead*

I think I know what the answer to the one from Vadra is...but I'm not positive. Do you think it makes sense to describe the Ingens Eloni like that?

And I figured out what the five continents of Eshteka are. :D

Maybe we should summon Wolferl (Lycanis) and ask him.

I have the answer to the question about Saemyr as well. :)

* shakes head and grins *

Speaking of summoning people to answer their own questions, though, the question I submitted was supposed to mean how to pronounce the long version, not the short version. * grins *

I have the answer to the question from Ska'Lah'Seh, too, and Allare. And I think I have the answer to the question from Ainaan.

*comes in and finds Juliet and 'Lyssa sitting on the floor* Well, come on, let's go get the rest of the answers!

Okay, I'm going to mark the ones that have been answered so far so this doesn't get confusing.

I have the answer for Eshteka!
The five continents are: Asroko, Mulhaki, Isia, Israli, and Frilaar.
*thinks maybe she should stop for now and let others catch up...*

Why don't we each pick a question to work on, or team up for a certain question?
I'm going to work on the one in Lor-Amar unless someone else already is...

I think we're the only ones here at the moment. I've just been going down the list (except for checking on the Ingens Eloni).

The answer for Skah'Lah-Seh is: To protect each of the Four Great Trees Yah created the Dra'Gon (Great Beasts) massive and powerful winged creatures

The answer for Allare is: Meriak and Verian feathers make excellent fletching

The answer for Ainaan (I think) is: Triaddian

I think the one for Katie's world is going to be hard, and Elly's too. :P We should collaborate.

Oh, and the only mention of a word for 'run' in Skrak is 'run (ran, will run)- pioth', which I believe is correct. Would it be called a 'future congregation'?

I believe I found the answer to the question from Kitra's world: The Lor-amaran do not suffer under the curse of language barriers the way we (terrans) do.
Language Barrier Syndrome (LBS) wrote:
All Lor-Amarans can understand all other Lor-Amarans and people of our world, and all people of our world can understand all Lor-Amarans (unless they're being obnoxiously verbose or cryptic or certain root words don't line up). But not all people of our world can understand other people of our world in Lor-Amar. This is because it isn't the land that has the barrier but the people. It's sort of like a disease. In a way, we are infected so that we don't understand all languages. Every individual Lor-Amaran is immune but if a Lor-Amaran human and a human from our world have children, their children will not understand all the languages of our world because they would be under the same curse. This does make it a little easier to tell the two apart because any Lor-Amaran (no matter how little time they might spend in their world) will not be confused by other languages.

What do you guys think?

Okay. I have to leave soon for a few hours, though. :( Give me a few things to do quickly (I leave in about twenty minutes) though and I'll say whether I got them done or not. :D

I don't know. o.O Can I see where it's mentioned (or at least, can you post a link for someone else to?)

Huh, I saw that, but I didn't think of that being the answer.... I think it might be though. How do we find out if our answers are correct?

That's probably a good idea.

I think pioth is correct.

What do they mean by "future congregation"?

Exactly what I want to know. But Pioth ought to be right, whatever sort of congregation it is. :D

What is wrong with the team list?

And no, you don't get to know if the answers are right until you're done. ;)

Edit: Oh. *has figured that out* That change was made last night. That's why I said to double check team lists.

*nods* I've been putting "Done?" next to the questions we're not sure of, instead of "DONE!"

The answer to the question about Saemyr is the clothing of nobility worn by the women of Athulia.

Finally! After doggedly deciding I was going to read every single thread in the forum til I found it, I finally ran across it.

Saemyr: The most popular fabric for court clothes, especially with the women, is the rare elemental cloth. Said to be made by the elementals, it was discovered after they fled following the Great War. Elemental cloth comes in four kinds, rather unimaginatively named wind, water, fire, and earth. Wind cloth seems to move like the wind, and is comprised of whites, light blues, and greys that wisp across the fabric. Water cloth also moves like water, with blues, greens, greys, and purples tumultuously swirling together. Fire cloth is comprised of reds, oranges, and yellow waving across it. Earth fabric is the calmest of the four, with the greens and browns staying stationary, with little patches of flower colours peeking out. Athulian weavers have tried to replicate the cloth, with no success, leading the rumour to become that somehow the elementals wove the elements right into the cloth. Since it is so rare, and once the cloth the elementals left behind is gone, it cannot be replaced, the cloth is made over many times into many different garments.

Good job, girls!
Now all we need is Elleys, and then we can double-check our answers. I'll start editing in the answers to the main post.

I thought it was the fortress of Gloom from the thread "They Have Traitors Too" but I could be wrong.

I think the "future congregation" of run (pioth) would be "pioduch" or something like that, according to Seabird's thread.

* wrinkles forehead * I'm not sure about that.... After the entry for run she has that parenthesis, which includes what she said was all the congregations, so I think that one word is supposed to be for all of them.
