Hey guys,

The party is over now. Thanks for everyone who put all the planning into making this a special time! And thank you to everyone who has got involved with the many different games, scavenger hunts and threads over the birthday period; we had a really fun time!

We have another birthday party coming up soon on HWSF, so keep an eye out for that! We'd love for you to join us over there.

I'm locking all the threads up now, but I'll leave this one thread open just for a little while, in case some people want to say a few words. :D

Thanks!

That was a lot of fun! Thanks, everyone, for organizing it. And thanks to the people who supplied questions about their worlds for the scavenger hunt. They were really challenging and fun. :D

I was going to say ... Last year's party only lasted for two days. In future, perhaps someone should be in charge of winding things down and cleaning up so things don't drag on so long?

That was mostly the fault of those of us :( *guilty as charged* :( who kept coming back to the question game.

I was wondering when this would end. Thank you for making the announcement, Elanor. Thank you also to those who organized the event and participated in making it a successfull birthday bash. It was great fun, and I'm looking forward to next year's.

One benefit to it "dragging on" was that I got a lot more answers on my thread for Jay than I otherwise would have. :D

You could have moved it to General Discussion (or Official Chatter) for a few weeks afterward ...

If no one minds, I can go ahead and move it to GD so we can continue to play.

Be careful of your thoughts; guard your mind, for your thoughts become words. Be guarded when you speak, for your words turn into action. Watch what you do, for your actions will become habits. Be wary of your habits, for they become your character. Pray over your character; strive to mold it to the image of Christ, because your character will shape your destiny.

Ideas can germinate from the smallest seeds. Collect those seeds, and let them grow in the back of your mind. You may be surprised by what finally blooms.

When God takes something from your grasp, he's not punishing you. Instead, He’s opening your hands to receive something better. The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you.

Works in progress:

The Diegosian Mark, 115,600 words (Preparing for Publication)
The Diegosian Rider, 121,400 words (Finished)
The Diegosian Warrior, 15,000 (In Progress)
