I was staying at a friend's house in Birmingham a few weeks ago, and we went to the cinema to see Darkest Hour. We both thought it was brilliant. Has anyone on here been to see it?

If you haven't seen it, I would definitely recommend watching! Gary Oldman is absolutely brilliant as Winston Churchill. The casting was perfect. Definitely a must watch in my opinion.

It was a choice of that or "12 Strong", went with the latter. If you want to see a "modern" war movie, I recommend it. Not for the squeamish, but good. A co-worker when to Special Forces school with some of the operators the movie is about.
