Lots of spoilers in this thread, I'm suspecting, so even with spoiler code, I suggest not reading unless/until you've seen the movie. :D

But GUYS

CAN WE TALK PLEASE :dieshappy: D: o.O  :bawl:

More well-rounded than the previous movies? Check.

More character development/fulfillment of character development? Check.

Conflict without an obvious bad guy to drive it? Never thought I'd see that in a Marvel movie. Check.

Spider Man? Like, what just happened. We have a great Spider Man again. Check.

Ant-Man being irreverent and goofy? Check. (Who needs Deadpool when you have Ant-Man?)

Visitch (or Witchion)? Check.

All told, I think this is the best all-around MCU movie to date. But that's of course partially due to all the build-up that came before, so... without the slightly less best movies beforehand it wouldn't have been the best... so I don't know where I was going with that.

Whatever. Just watch it! :dieshappy:

I'm house sitting at my aunt's house and she happens to live less than 10 minutes from the theater. And Tuesdays it's only $5 for a movie. So yeah, I just got back from watching this.

First, I have to admit that I have not seen any Spiderman movies and don't know a whole lot about him.

Favorite part: "Is there a (checks package) Tony Stank here?" And then the jokes coming after that. Hilarious!!

I thought the movie was well done, but the action was a bit fast for such a big screen and not watching it in 3D. The beginning was especially mind-bogglingly blurry.

The other favorite parts were when Spidey talked too much. So did Ant-man for that matter.

I would definitely agree that it's the most well-rounded movie so far, and one of the more morally ambiguous conflicts as well, which made things very interesting.

Saw it yesterday! :) I think it was everything that Batman V. Superman wasn't--namely, it made sure we cared about the characters before they started throwing punches at each other.

There were a couple of cliched backstories/motivations--SOMEBODY I KNOW DIED AND NOW I'M EVIL OR AT LEAST MORALLY AMBIGUOUS--but it was still plotted well enough that we had the emotional grounding and sincerity.

I also agree with the general consensus I've seen on FB--that having Spiderman be an actual teenager, and act like it, was a good choice. I also still love Ant Man. :D

I haven't liked any of the Captain America movies so far. However, I saw the trailer for this, and I really want to see it. Maybe I'll treat myself this week :)
