It's November, and since I have nowhere near enough time to even contemplate attempting NaNoWriMo, that means it's time to watch Month of the Novel again.[note] Or it would be if I hadn't already done so this weekend.

Month of the Novel is a (hilarious) web video series depicting one novice writer's attempt to write a "November Novel," from the perspective of both The Author and her characters. It was made by HWer Jordan Smith, and one episode in the second (and so far last, alas) season was "filmed" partly in the Holy Worlds SF forum chat room (with some interjections by yours truly, if you watch at high enough resolution :)). (Oh, and she who now goes by "Lt. General Hansen" here was "story supervisor" and wrote a couple of episodes.)

To my great regret, Month of the Novel has gone essentially silent since Season 2 aired in November 2013. (I gather that "life happened" for many of the people involved. But I'd love to see it come back for a third season, and in the meantime the two seasons we do have are well worth watching (in my case, again and again).

I loved Month of the Novel, and agree it would be great for them to make another!

One of my favorite parts, due to the context in my current writing prompt, was "set something on fire."
I thought it was hilarious that at first you are panicking thinking something is horribly wrong, and then it's like the author decides she doesn't want things getting too out of hand. (Deleted spoiler in case that is keeping me from posting)

One other hilarious thing was that the Christmas cantata our Church had purchased for that year had a line about something "we had received from our ancestors." I almost laughed out loud during choir practice! : r o f l : *goes to report smilie bug *

*and another bug, where HW says my message has too few characters when I click "preview" or "submit"*

Characters to increase likelihood of sending:
Peter, Edmund, Susan, Lucy, Aslan, Caspian, the dufflepuds, Reepicheep, Corin, Cor; Gandalf, Aragorn, Frodo, Samwise Gamgee, Legolas, Arwen, Gimli; Billy, Bonnie; Heart, Mind, Will, Conscience, Emotion; Cyrus McCoy, Nancy McCoy, Jerry, Irish people, 19th century people, extra office worker; Elanna, Jillian, Lensebearers, Forgers

Works in progress:
Lensebearers of Huargia - Second draft
Tuned on the Luthier's Workbench - Second draft [current focus]
Out of the Twilight - Conceptualized, semi-outlined
And there are many more in line... Apparently I need to get busy...

I think it turned out the coding was the problem? When I removed all code it sent... So, sorry about that long string of characters... : r o f l :
