So, I love writing dialogue - for the most part. There are times when I'll just sit down and write things my characters might say. Or I write a journal entry and some sentence just pops out.

Quotes stick in our mind and can shape us for better or worse. What are your favorites that you personally have written? Funny, serious, deep, ect. Post as many as you like!

"The true meaning of the struggle can only be discovered if the struggle is accepted." - Yet to be spoken by a character

This quote originated from my oldest younger sister. I, unfortunately, was always on the receiving end of this.

"Two great minds think alike!"
"I never said your mind was great."
"I'll have to think up a counter for that." - Probably Renn and Jothin (with Jothin on the receiving end)

Marco starts cleaning up Nowhere.

Messiette went to Wren to hold her. "Is he..dead?"

"Unless he can live with scrambled brains and no spinal cord attachment, I think so." The man wiped a bloody blade off on Jon's jacket.


Marco introduces himself to an angry young boy and younger brother

"Hi, I'm Marco. I kill for a living." Marco extended his hand to the young man. "These ladies are my friends. Don't piss me off. What's your name?"

A smaller hand quickly grabbed yours. "I'm Akil. I steal."


Irene Pace explaining why the Star Confederation Navy Intelligence Corps could not come up with a scenario to explain Marco's activities:
