Did anyone else pledge to read a certain number of books this year on Goodreads?

I haven't used this feature much in previous years, but since I have been making a dedicated effort to read several times a week for the past few months--with decent success--I decided to go for it. It's a simple way to set a challenge for myself without having to spend a lot of time tracking my progress, so it's more sustainable throughout the year.

I set a goal of 52 books--about one a week. Obviously, I'm not able to finish a full-length novel once a week, but since I do read some manga, my plan is to keep making consistent progress on full-length novels and intersperse them with manga to keep my count up. So far I'm on track. I'm in the middle of a really good full-length novel, and am enjoying rereading my favorite manga series of all time.

Did anyone else set a goal? If so, what is your target? What have you been reading so far? What's your plan for maintaining a consistent reading pace?

I set a goal simply because if I don't that area of the interface will nag me about it until I do :). Because most of what I read of late is fanfiction that isn't on Goodreads, and last year I failed to meet even the low bar that I'd set, this year I set my goal for only 15 books for the year. Most of which will probably come this month, next month, in March, and in December, with the books that come into the house at Christmas and my birthday :).

I have my reading goal set for 75 this year. I've taken to listening to audiobooks a lot during housework and exercise, so that should help me get more than one book a week. I also am going to count each time that I read through my books for editing.
