Demiri: Heroine of the story. Her father left her and she was made fun of as a kid. Her only friend is Klydin. She spends lots of time reading and doing projects. She runs the workshop for her mother. Is proud but caring, smart. If you get to know her, you would say that she is fun and crazy(the fun-loving, hyper 'act myself' crazy. Reserved.) at heart. Sees things to a negative extreme. 15 years of age
Klydin: His father cares little for him and his mother is strict. He loves his grandfather but he was executed for a crime he did not commit. Klydin is short-tempered, courageous, and is sorrowed about the death of Jaymes. Has a crush on Demiri, but he's more the bachelor type.
He's too adventurous to settle down. 17 years of ageYonash: Demiri's mother. Has a crippled wing. Believes that Remefido will come back. 31 years of age
Tikdel: Sentry. Has a grudge against Klydin's family for suing him.
Marlu: Dictator of Skreek Territories (major antagonist). He has learned both Skrac and Val. He is a skatros
Remefido: Demiri's father. He is a map-maker that discovered the kingdom of Yanrama. He taught the skreeks the Val language and learned Skrac himself. After speaking with the chancellor at several visits, which he managed to keep a secret from everyone in Nebey, Remefido decided to leave his home to aid in the battle between skreeks and skatros. He unveils a secret about Marlu's plans but is now imprisoned in Marlu's Fortress. Is now somewhat crazy but has given his life to Elohim.
King Andrel: Appointed king of the town of Nebey.
Etura Bey: Rich nobel, part of the Bey family. 60 years of age
Nikki Bey: Grandson of Etura, a blind dragon with silver eyes. He was scorned as his eyes did not show the tread-mark viridian green hue of the Bey family and therefore suspected to be the son of 'unclean blood'. His parants are both Bey's however. He unveiled some notes that belonged to Remefido and is now investing time in decifering what he wrote. The red dragon carries the scent and ash of coal as Nikki believes that evidence points to something being concealed in an old mine. Nikki lives in his own cavern. He is gentle and affectionate, but is also very fun to be around. Also has a crush on Demiri, but really loves her
. 16 years of ageZip Bey: Nikki's brother. He loves Nikki and lives with him instead. The parents are ashamed to have two sons with such scornful looks that disgrace their family name. Zip has bright, silver-blue eyes which contrast so violently from his pale red body and sky blue quills. The boy is a chatterbox and manipulative, but very friendly. NAUGHTY >:3 8 years of age
Lulyi: A dragon from the Dorimay Empire. She comes from a rich family and is short-tempered, used to having things done for her, and is envious of her sister. Lulyi unknowingly is great at painting landscapes. She also ran away. She has no intrest of a love life. 18 years of age
