"A world where everything fades as it ages..."
This sums up my fantasy world, Erde, in one sentence. Erde: A world where everything fades as it ages. The phenomenon that happens to human hair in our world--graying and whitening with age--befalls all creatures in Erde, humans and animals, plants and objects. Even the earth itself is growing old, whitening and crumbling into dust around the edges...
I first created Erde in the fall of 2010 for my novel Faded, which I wrote for NaNoWriMo. Since then I have been developing the world extensively in hopes of revising Faded and writing many more stories set in the world. The fruits of my ongoing labors are displayed in this subforum.
